I am very pleased to recommend miss Duan Xiaomei, one of my favorite students, for her admission to your department to be a student. As her class teacher, I know her very well. I regard Duan as one of the most promising students.
During her 4 years at our university, she studied very diligently and her performance was impressive. She took many courses in Journalism and Communication, such as Journalism Theory and History, News Gathering, Camera Shooting and Video Editing. Especially, she is very good at making micro film. When she was a junior, her team made a video advertisement for the Marketing Planning Competition of Wahaha and won the first prize. In the team, she played the most important role, the director.
She is very keen on Social Documentary producing and very interested in the fates of common people. She observes the society and
cogitates on the meaning of life through her camera. Now she is working for Tencent, the most famous internet company in China and has achieved a lot, such as Survivor of Jewish refugees Returning to Shanghai, a Confession of a Bodybuilding Queen and a Champion Barista at the Gulangyu Island, etc.
In my opinion, Miss Duan is a student with intellectual curiosity and initiative, seeking self-improvement constantly. She has a great interest in Social Documentary. I think she has the capacity, desire, determination and some experiences for good quality study. She can confidently handle her future studies and researches at your department.
