不定冠词a 、an (意为“一个”)
1. 指“泛指”，即指同类人或事物中(其中)“一个” 。 2. a / an 的区别
a 用在辅音音素开头的单数可数名词或字母前，an 用 在元音音素开头的单数可数名词或字母前。 例如：(1) He is __a__boy, she is___a_girl.
6.__T_h_e__jacket is blue. It’s __a___nice jacket.
7.He has(有)_a__big(大) egg. _T_h_e_big egg is delicious(美味的) 8.It’s __a_n_orange. _T_h_e_orange is in the box(箱子里) 9.There is __a_ “u” and a_n_ “s” in the word(单词) “use”.

3. 用在“世界上独一无二的” 名词和“某些专有名词” 前。
如: (1) the sun 太阳 the moon 月亮 the earth 地球 the sky(天空) the world(世界) (2) the People’s Republic of China(中华人民共和国) the Changjiang River (长江) the Yellow River (黄河)
• 如：in the morning/afternoon/ evening, by the way, look the same
7. 用在最高级前
• the youngest / the most beautiful 8. 用在序数词前
• the first / the second / the third / the fourth 9. 用在方位名词前 或习惯用法

2、表示颜色、语言、称呼语和官职、头衔的名词前

3、在球类运动，棋类和学科名词前不用冠词。
Mr zhang likes playing football and chess. 4、在季节，月份，星期，节日和三餐饭前不用冠词。
June 1 is Children’s Day .
All the students have lunch at school. 注意：但中国的传统节日前一般加“the” the Mid-Autumn Day 中秋节 the Spring Festival 春节 5、名词前有“this , that , those , these , my ,your ,some ”
(2) This is __a_n_orange. It is __a_n_ old orange.
3.特殊词（特殊用法）
(1) a useful book a university a UFO a one –leg dog (2) an honest(诚实的) boy an hour(小时)
an honor(荣誉,名誉,面子) (3) an “a , e , i , o , f, h , l , m , n , r , s , x(这些是字母) ”

定冠词 the(意为“这个，那个，这些，那些”) 1. 第二次提到，即指上文提到过的人或物
