一份特殊的礼物
阳光明媚，我走在宁静的小路上，心想：这次语文考试全班第一，爸爸妈妈不知会奖励我什么呢？
回到家，我一脸兴奋，爸爸妈妈问我有什么喜事？
我高兴得将考试的事情告诉了他们，期待着给我一份特殊的礼物。

过了一会儿，爸爸妈妈走到我面前，先是给我一阵掌声，我的心里像是喝了蜜糖，紧接着，爸爸说，今天我们准备了一份特殊的礼物送你，就是两句话，第一句“读书破万卷，下笔如有神”，第二句“谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人落后”，我一下子明白了爸爸妈妈的良苦用心，这份礼物真是太好了。

A special gift
It was a sunny day, I walked in the quiet road, and I was thinking about that I got the first place in my Chinese examination , what would my parents reward me.
When I went back home, I was so excited. My parents asked me what happened?
I told them the reason, and looked forward to a special gift. After a while, my mom and dad stood before me, and gave me a storm of applause, I was so happy. Then my dad said: “Today we will give you a special gift . They are two sentences. The first sentence is ‘ The more one reads, the better one writes’. the second sentence is ‘Modesty helps one to make progress, conceit makes one lag behind’. Suddenly I could understand what my parents means. This is the best gift.。
