2). to refer to something or someone谈及,提到例句:Did she mention me in her letter? 她在信中提到我了吗?5. agreement n.1). the situation in which people have the same opinion, or in which they approve of oraccept something意见一致;同意;应允例句:The whole family was in agreement with her about/on what they should do.关于他们应该做什么,全家人都和她意见一致。

2). a decision or arrangement, often formal and written, between two or more groups or people协议,协定;和约例句:Finally the two sides have reached an agreement. 双方终于达成了协议。

三点剖析一、考点1. wh-引导的宾语从句宾语从句为特殊疑问句时,由特殊疑问词引导,这是连接词有词义,且在宾语从句中充当句子成分。

常见的引导词有:what, when, where, why, how, who。

例句:Can you tell us what they are doing?你能告诉我们他们在做什么吗?She asked who was the tallest in our class.她问我们班里谁最高。

We don’t know when the train arrives.我们不知道火车什么时候到。

Do you know how old she is?你知道她多大了吗?2. 提建议1). why not…?和why don’t you…?可以互换使用,是提出建议的委婉方式,意为“为什么不……呢?”,why not 后接动词原形。

例句:Why not go there with me?为什么不和我一起去那儿呢?2). What/ How about…?表示“……怎么样?”后接名词、代词或v-ing形式作宾语,用于询问情况或征求意见。

例句:What/ How about going shopping? 去购物如何。

3). Let’s…意为“咱们……吧”,是let us的缩写形式,后接动词原形,表示建议。

例句:Let’s look at the picture. 我们看图片吧。

4). Shall we…? 句型用来向对方提出建议,后接动词原形,建议听话者在内的“我们”一起去做某事,意为“我们……,好吗?”例句:Shall we go to the theatre by bus?我们乘公交车去剧院好吗?二、易错点1. suggestion & advice1). suggestion用作可数名词,着重指“建议,提议”,常和make搭配使用。

例句:The teacher made some suggestions for the exam.老师针对考试提出了一些建议。

2). advice是不可数名词,着重“劝告,忠告”,常和give搭配使用。

例句:Can you give me some advice?你能给我一些建议吗?2. cause & reason & excuse1). cause用作名词时表“原因”,指造成某一事实或现象或产生某种结果的直接原因,常常和effect连用,表示因果,是可数名词,后接介词of。

例句:I don’t know the cause and effect of it.我不知道此事的前因后果。

2). reason意为“理由”,用来解释某种现象或结果,或对事物的起因、行为的意图等给出合乎逻辑的解释,而不是简单直接地说明起因。

例句:These are our reasons for doing it.这些就是我们做此事的理由。

3). excuse指为免受指责和推卸责任而找的“借口、托辞”。

例句:Don’t make excuses every time, Simon.不要每次都找理由,西蒙。
