错误的英文标语【篇一：有错误的英语标语】这幅警示牌的错误同样是动词短语的运用不当。
“keep out”的解释是，“用于警示牌，切勿靠近(进入)”。
老外若看了这个牌子，还不知道前方是什么呢，竟会如此之凶险。
“危险！请勿动。
” 正确的翻译为“danger！no touch”“果皮箱”竟然成了“fruit水果”“leather皮革”“suitcase手提箱”三个单词。
suitcase也没有有垃圾箱的意思其实，“果皮箱”英语中有个简单的词“litterbin”，就算不知道这个词，也可以翻译成“垃圾箱”（rubbish bin）。
若是根据其英文“please take good personal luggage”再译成中文的话，得到的是“请带上好的个人物品”。
好的物品就随身带，不好的就扔吗？这句提示语的英文翻译，将“good”一词去掉可以，但若换成“please pay attention to your luggage”似乎更符合英文的语言习惯这一幅，“垃圾在此投放，烟头切勿投入”。
译文是“the garbage throws in here. the cigarette butt throws in absolutely not to.”因为逐字翻译，这两句话在译成英语后，都将宾语放在了主语的位置。
在报纸上，好像会看见类似的用法，作为标题。
正确的应该是：“garbage only, no for cigarette butt”)。
关于“出口”，应该是在国外流传最广的一个笑话了。
在北京某汽车城的二手车交易市场出口处,一块写着“export”的出口指示牌格外明显。
而“export”的本意是“外贸出口”,如果用在这里，就意味着“逛市场的人都要被当成商品被卖到国外”。
这一幅，贴在列车的车窗边。
“严禁向窗外抛扔物品”，译文是“strictly forbid toward window to throw to throw a product outside.”其中将“抛扔”翻译为“throw to throw” 真可谓是鬼斧神工，让人“叹服”。
