Then they got married and lived a happy life with two children.

However,one day,the God of the Heaven found it and forced the weaving maid to come back to the heaven. The cowherd chasing after his wife in the sky by riding his ox. The Goddess of the Heaven made a milky way with hairoin,which kept the cowherd and the weaving maid separated. The weaving maid had to stay on the star Vega,while the cowherd with his two children on the star Altair. They were allowed to meet only once a year on July 7th of the lunar calendar,which was thus regarded as the Chinese Valentine’s Day.

After Dong Yong finished his work, both husband and wife returned home happily. On the way, Dong Yong found that his wife was pregnant and rushed to ask for water to quench her thirst. At this time, the wind blows, and there were heavenly soldiers and generals in the air. The imperial edict of the Jade Emperor was handed down. The seventh fairy were limited to return to the heavenly palace at three o'clock in the afternoon. If they disobey their orders, Dong Yong would be broken to pieces. The seventh fairy could not bear her husband's innocent victims, so she had to explain her origin to Dong Yong, and engraved the oath of "one heart in the world" on the Huaiyin tree, and returned to the heaven with a sad and indignant mood.They separated forever.

Afterwards, Bai Suzhen was locked up in the Leifeng tower because of Fa Hai after she gave birth to the child. What he did made the couple had no chance to meet.
