On the spring festival Eve,the family members come back from different places to their hometown. All the family get together and enjoy the big meal. We give each other the best wishes for the coming year.
Before it comes,everyone has to prepare lots of Things.We buy pork,beef,chicken,fruits and many other foods.And we often make a special food-‘dumplings.’It means ‘come together.’ On the day before the festival ,we always have a great house cleaning.Our parents buy new clothes for us.
On Chinese New Year’Day,my parents give me red packets. Then,we go out and visit ouch a lion dance in the afternoon and watch fireworks in the evening.
After dinner, some of us sing and dance, some play cards and others watch TV. CCTV helds the grand Spring Fesival gala every year.We always watch it together. We all have a good time on this evevning.
