隔世情缘
∙因为Meg看的《隔世情缘》，犹记得《西雅图不眠夜》里那个深信缘分和真爱的大女孩，也还记得《电子情书》她的曼妙风情。

深入人心的甜心形象，征服于她的俏皮灵气，征服于她的清新可人，征服于她浑然天成的喜剧感而又不失严肃认真和理性的精灵形象.而在这部《隔世情缘》里，Meg饰演的Kate是一个能够为了爱情放弃现有的一切，追到一个尚未可知的过去，最终回到自己所爱的人身边，有情人终成眷属，符合Meg一贯的甜心形象，男性化又不失可爱迷人。

∙I see the film Kate & Leopold because of the heroine Meg, who has impressed me by her performance both in Sleepless in Seattle, in which she acted as a girl, deeply believing in fate and true love, and in You've Got Mail, in which she attracted me by her amorous feelings. I have been completely conquered by her lusciousness, smartness and purity, her perfect sense of comedy, and her spirit with the attitude of being serious and conscientious. In Kate & Leopold, Meg played the role of Kate, who can give up everything for love, and courageously went to the past to stay with her lover. Lovers finally got together, consistently corresponding with Meg’s honey image, a little masculine but lovely and charming.
初看这部电影，却有点失望，故事俗套，剧情缺乏创意，本以为结局是个感天动地泣鬼神的爱情壮举，可谁只却来了个皆大欢喜满堂彩的通俗喜剧，Meg的表演虽未脱离本色，却鲜有出彩的表演。

可从另一方面，对于这样的片子，不能深究为什么理性自我的Kate会冲动地爱上来历不明的Leo甚至会冒险从大桥上往下跳，为什么Stuart从疯人院跑出来没人追究他，也不能问这位营销精英到了一百年前将会怎么营生，更不要细想时间裂缝的逻辑是怎么回事，如此这般一系列的事情不是这个电影要讲的。

At first glance of the film, I was a little bit disappointed, for the story was an old stuff, lack of originality. Countering to what I have thought that the end would be magnificent love feat which would deeply touched the gods and ghosts, the story just gave us a popular comedy with which everybody was satisfied. Although Meg’s performance has not made any breakthrough, she has done a splendid performance. For this kind of film, we just can't dig for why Kate with rationality impulsively fell in love with Leo who was unknown, why Kate risked her life to jump down from the bridge, why Stuart ran out from madhouse without investigation, and how the marketing elite would earn her living after she went to one hundred years ago, and we also don't need to think about the logic of time Crevasse, because all of those are just not the points the film wants to tell.
要你为电影中幽默的小段落发笑了，只要你看懂了其中如化学反应的爱情，就足够了。

要是还能透过它看到现代生活的快节奏、虚伪、功利、表面化，就已是收获。

倘若还能看到Kate对爱的执着，领悟到一切美好的故事，都应该被祝福。

而故事之后的悲伤，则希望他们彼此握着爱意的双手，去容忍、去坚持、去守护。

每个爱情故事，都应该被有心人祝福微笑，因为他们一直过着有爱相随的生活。

I t’s absolutely enough so long as you have laughed for the humorous fragments in the film
and been aware of the chemical reactions in love. If we can read the fast rhythm of life, hypocrisy, and utility in the modern society from the film, we gain something. If we can see the insistence of Kate’s love, we will know that all the beautiful things should be blessed, and we will hope them insist with and preserve their love hand in hand with tolerance. Every love story should be blessed with smile, because they live a life filled with love. What we need is that I love you truthfully, and
take love as the most precious thing. I love you, because you are my prince, and I need you just as the way you need me. All we need is love！Believing in love and being with love, means everything in the life.。
