高中虚拟语气精讲英语动词有三种语气，陈述语气，祈使语气和虚拟语气。
定义：用来表示说的话不是事实，或者是不可能发生的情况，而是一种愿望，建议，假设的语气叫虚拟语气。
●虚拟语气在条件状语从句中的用法。
假如我有足够的钱, 我就去环游世界.If I had enough money, I would travel around the world.假如我是你, 我就不会说那样的话.If I were you, I would not say that.假如我听了你的建议, 我就不会犯错误了.If I had taken your advice, I wouldn’t have made a mistake.假如明天下雪的话, 我就不去野营了.If it should rain tomorrow, I wouldn’t go camping.●有时表示虚拟语气的条件从句或者主句都可以省略，而只剩下一个主句或者一个条件从句。
●假设条件从句谓语动词发生的时间与主句所假设的谓语动词不一致，叫做错综条件虚拟语气。
主句和从句的谓语动词要依照假设的时间而定。
(“各归各”的原则）If the weather had been finer, the crops would be growing still better.If you had followed the teacher’s advice, you wouldn’t fail the exam now.●假设条件虚拟倒装。
条件从句中有should，were，had三个助动词可以把if省略，并将这三个词提至句首。
If I were you, I would give it up.Were I you, I would give it up.If it were not for your advice, we couldn’t have got over the difficulties.Were it not for your advice, we couldn’t have got over the difficulties.If I had had time, I would have run round that lake again.Had I had time, I would have run round that lake again.If there should be a flood, what should we do?Should there be a flood, what should we do?没有阳光，人们的生活将于今天的截然不同。
Without sunlight, people’s life would be different from today.要是没有你的帮助，我就不能完成那项工作。
But for your help, I wouldn’t have finished the work.With favorable winds, we might have arrived there in two days.●with, or, otherwise, but, however 引导的从句如与事实不符，用虚拟My parents lent me the money. Otherwise, I couldn't have afforded thetrip.我父母借钱给我了。
否则，我可付不起这次旅费。
（虚拟）Shut the window, otherwise it'll get too cold in here. （非虚拟）I'm lucky that I'm interested in school work, otherwise I'd go mad.要是我们的父母能和我们住在一起就好了。
If only our parents could live with us!要是我没错过火车就好了！If only I hadn’t missed the train!●虚拟语气特殊句型：●宾语从句。
常见动词：一个坚持，两个命令，三个建议，四个要求。
insist, order, command, advise, suggest, propose, demand , require, request, desire (注意：当insist表示“坚持认为”、suggest表示“表明，显示”时，不用虚拟语气。
)这些动词后面的宾语从句要使用虚拟语气。
即从句中的动词使用should + 动词原形，或者将should省略。
我们建议他去看一下医生。
We suggested that he (should ) go to see the doctor.他坚决要求我参加他的毕业典礼。
He insisted that I (should ) be present at his graduation ceremony.国王命令囚犯明天要实施死刑。
The king ordered that the prisoners be killed the next day.他要求我们派他去那儿工作。
He requested that we (should) send him to work there.以上动词相应的名词构成的名词性从句包括主语从句，表语从句和同位语从句也要使用虚拟语气。
从句中的动词形式一样。
即：(should)＋V.order, advice, suggestion, proposal, demand, request, desire有人建议计划应该马上执行。
It’s suggested that the plan be carried out at once.我的要求是她每周来看我一次。
My demand is that she should come to see me once a week.我们所有的人都支持化工厂应该关闭的这个建议All of us are for the advice that the chemical factory should be closed down.我宁愿你现在就付钱给我.I would rather you paid me now.我宁愿你也去了.I would rather you had gone, too.别来. 我宁愿你明天来.Don’t come. I would rather you came tomorrow.但愿我是一只小鸟。
I wish I were a bird.但愿我没犯过这样一个错误。
I wish I hadn’t made such a mistake.希望我们的父母亲不会惩罚我们。
I wish our parents wouldn’t punish us ●It’s necessary /strange/ natural/ important + that从句中的动词要用虚拟，即（should）+动词原形（surprising、funny、right、wrong、better、a pity ，the shame ，no wonder）我们掌握一门外语是很重要的。
It is important that we ( should ) master a foreign language.奇怪她居然拒绝来参加晚会。
It is strange that she refuse to come to the party.我们努力学习是有必要的。
It’s necessary that we should study hard.Do you think it is necessary that he (should)not be sent to Lingbao.（should 表示“建议”的语气，可省。
）It is strange that such a person should be our friend.（should表示“竟然”的语气，不可省。
）It is a pity that he should be so careless.●在表从/状从中的应用他看上去象个外国人He looks as if he were a foreigner.她爱这个孩子就好像他是她的亲生儿子一样。
She loves the baby as if it were her own son.我记得整件事就好像发生在昨天一样。
I remember the whole thing as if it had happened yesterday.●在for fear that，in case，lest引导的从句中，若用虚拟语气时，从句谓语为：should+ do。
should不能省略She examined the door again for fear that a thief should come in.她又把门检查了一遍，以防盗贼的进入。
He started out earlier lest he should be late.他早早地就出发了以防迟到。
●在定从中的应用该是我们上床睡觉的时候了. It’s time that we went to bed.It’s time that we should go to bed.●情态动词＋have done表虚拟:should/ ought to + have done 表本该做，但实际没做shouldn’t/oughtn’t to + have done本不应做而做了needn’t + have done 本不必做而做了这花死了，我本该多浇水的。
The flower is dead. I should have given it more water汤姆本不该把你的秘密告诉我的。
Tom ought not to have told me your secret.你本不必来的，打个电话就可以了。
You needn’t have come here. You can just give me a phone call.●could + have done本来有能力做而实际没有做他本来可以拿第一的, 但他的腿受伤了.He could have taken the first place but his legs were injured.可能已经做过某事他可能把书弄丢了吗?Could he have lost the book?●may/might + have done本来有可能做而实际没有做他本来有可能得救的.He might have been saved.可能已经做过某事她可能在报上读到这件事了.She might have read about it in the papers.●表祝愿的虚拟语气：Heaven help him!
