3.2.3
PCBA + Battery performance test (applicable for finished goods) Performance test should be conducted for semi-manufacture (PCBA + battery) before assembly. Voltage check (on-line fully test) 1> Open circuit voltage: 4.9~5.3V 2> Loading voltage: 4.6~5.3V 3> D+: 1.8V – 2.2V (for 1A port); 2.5V – 2.9V (for 2A port) D-: 2.5V – 2.9V (for 1A port); 1.8V – 2.2V (for 2A port) Remark: not need to check D+, D- voltage if they are in short-circuited connection.

Features and protective function: Short-circuit protective function: If short-circuit happen (heavy current), protective IC can cut off the output circuit or limit the current to protect whole PCBA components and battery, avoid from over-heat (caught fire) and explosion. Over-current protective function: The protective IC can monitor the current, if the real-time current over limitation, IC will start up current-limiting function to protect the whole PCBA and battery. Generally, over-current ≥ 1.5 * rated output current. Over-charging protective function: The protective IC can monitor the battery charging process, and with the function to cut off charging circuit automatically once fully charging. For general battery, the fully charging voltage is 4.2V Over-discharging protective function: The protective IC can monitor the whole discharging process, discharging circuit can be cut off automatically once battery voltage reaching the lower limit. For general Li-ion battery, the lower limit voltage at around 2.75V ~ 3.0V
