When they face the horrible scene ,they didn’t perform like others,they stay calm,and got ready to face it.they didn’t disturb thenslves.they knew that they must face it but not be afraid of it.I think the metaphor in it is the spirit of the grandmother held. ‘a moment latter ,the hurricane ,in one mighty swipe,lifted the entire roof off the house and skimmed it 40 feet thorough the air .we can see the situation was becoming worse and worse . I think if anyone others faced with the situation would be so scared .but the grandmother not.she chose to keep calm to face it with o optimistic attitude .When we encounter difficulties in life, we notice thatsome of us choose to bury their heads in the sand. Unfortunately, however,this attitude will do you no good, because if you will have no courageeven to face them, how can you conquer them?
