没有信仰的生活已经让我们的生活变得索然无味，行同走肉，空话、假话、大话漫天飞。
什么是信仰，不同的人有不同的理解和认识。
山东笔名叫“藿香正气丸”的朋友从信息的角度说：“‘信’就是认为自己知道的东西是符合事实的；‘仰’即仰望，就是在一种知识体系内相信那些无法证实的内容，因为此知识体系内低层的信息得到了确认，所以高级信息即使不能证明，但由于因为信任此体系，也便相信其信息的真实性”。
另一位笔名“历史哲学”的人从实用的角度讲：“信仰即是自己的需要。
满足人们的需求，人们就信。
物质上的需要，人们需要科学，科学即是信仰”。
一位自称“月亮鱼”的朋友从反面说：“信仰是自我欺骗而欺骗别人的工具。
人有信仰，则必定在精神上成为奴隶”。
而另外一个朋友则从正面说：“信仰是一种心理依托，是一种可以激发人潜力的力量”。
“天涯客子”和他的朋友认为信仰是：“精神的家园，心灵的归向”。
关于心灵的归向，他们认为：“自然的方向有东西南北，前后左右上下。
而信仰非自然的方向，而是人心的归向，人灵性生命力的方向，是指你的心，你的灵性，你的生命是否归向天主。
人生命的归向，心灵的归向就是信仰”。
还有人说：“信仰就是相信自己的思想。
”网友“wuqiangnian”认为：“信仰是人内心秉持的精神规范，是心灵的寄托。
它指导着人的行为方式和评价事物的态度。
”当然，我相信大多数人赞同：“信仰是人们对自己理想的不放弃,对真理的尊重和实践”。
笔名叫“梦梦心绝痛”的朋友说：“信仰，是指对某人或某种主张、主义、宗教或神极度相信和尊敬，拿来作为自己行动的榜样或指南。
概括地说，信仰是人对人生观、价值观和世界观等的选择和持有”。
而网名“zhxr63”的朋友则用近乎抽象逻辑的口吻告诉我们：“信仰即是对万事万物存在惟一性真理的坚信不疑的认定。
迄今为止，人们对信仰的认识，都仅仅限于历史上遗留下来的宗教信仰，或以为只要人们心中有神的信念，就是有了信仰。
其实，这只是人们对人类智慧尚处于蒙昧时期的信仰活动现象的肤浅外表的认识。
神，从现代人认知水平的角度看，不过是人类对真理尚处于完全无知状态时期的一种抽象观念的代偿，而且还只限于一神论的宗教信仰。
因为全知全能的神——上帝抽象的惟一性，正好可以代偿真理抽象的惟一性；这也因为无论神抑或真理，都应是最高的抽象，而不能是任何想象或具象。
