Easter 复活节 around March 22---April 25
复活节(Easter),是纪念耶稣基督复活的 节日,西方信基督教的国家都过这个节。在 西方教会传统里,春分之后第一次满月之后 的第一个星期日即为复活节。东方教会则规 定,如果满月恰逢星期日,则复活节再推迟 一周。因此,节期大致在3月22日至4月25日 之间。复活节是最古老最有意义的基督教节 日之一,庆祝的是基督的复活,世界各地的 基督徒每年都要举行庆祝。复活节还象征重 生和希望。

万圣节(HALLOWEEN)为每年的10月31日。 是11月1日诸圣节的前夕,通常叫做万圣节, 这一夜是一年中最“闹鬼”的一夜,所以也叫 “鬼节”。源自古代凯尔特民族(Celtic)的新 年节庆,此时也是祭祀亡魂的时刻,在避免恶 灵干扰的同时,也以食物祭拜祖灵及善灵以祈 平安渡过严冬,是西方传统节日。万圣节期间, 许多公共场所乃至居家院落,都会布置上很多 装璜,诸如各式鬼怪、南瓜灯、还有黑猫以及 巫婆的扫帚之类;孩子们会穿上每年不一样的 万圣节服装,拎着南瓜灯的提篓去挨家挨户地 讨糖,说是“trick or treat”。
