Self-evaluation
My dear teachers,
I am greatly honored to have the chance to apply for the Language big data innovation class of our school. My name is... and I come from the city of Tai’an, the city where Mount Tai is located. Now, let me briefly introduce myself to you.
To begin with, I have a good command of English, especially in listening and reading comprehension. As far as English is concerned, I have always been among the best students in my school these three years.
I also obtained the National First Prize in the National English Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students. Accumulation is the best approach for me to learn English. I still remembered the day when I entered the senior high school, I bought a dictionary and some mini notebooks--the dictionary for looking up words and the notebook for writing them down. I call them my own vocabulary books, which are carried with me everywhere, even here today. Every time I’m free I take them out to memorize some new words. It is through this way that I can enlarge my English vocabulary and crash the word barriers in reading. I believe I can take full advantage of my English strength in the future.
Besides that, I want to say something beyond study. I am a person who is full of creation. Once I designed a helicopter model and gained the Provincial Second Prize. On weekends, I usually draw some pictures,
play ping-pong and play the flute. These hobbies not only make me relaxed, but also make my life more colorful.
Moreover, I am always ready to give others a helping hand. I made dumplings in the nursing homes for the aged and helped left behind children on weekends. I’m sure these volunteer activities will make our society more harmonious.
If I’m fortunate enough to be selected, I will spare no effort to learn more about English and improve myself- -joining clubs, playing basketball, doing research and so on. I plan to start working in companies like IFLYTEK to combine AI with English to make international communication more convenient.
