802.21-2008: IEEE Standard for Local and metropolitan area networks - Part 21: Media Independent Handover Services 802.21 is developing standards to enable handover and interoperability between heterogeneous network types including both 802 and non 802 networks. It includes media types specified by Third Generation (3G) Partnership Project (3GPP), 3G Partnership Project 2 (3GPP2), and both wired and wireless media in the IEEE 802 family of standards.
