行书(running script)
Xingshu or “running script” appeared in the last years of the Eastern Han dynasty. It was a writing form in between Kaishu and Caoshu,in style.
楷书(standard script)
There was no Kaishu prior to the Western Han dynasty(206BC— 8),The evolution of Kaishu from the square styled Lishu began in the last years of the Eastern Han dynasty(25---220AD). This new writing style largely blossomed during the Wei dynasty(220--265AD)and the Jin dynasty(265--420AD),about 1800years ago.Today,Kaishu is still a commonly used writing style, a very long and enduring Chinese writing script indeed.

篆书(seal script)
篆书是汉字最古老的字体,具有明 显的象形特点。
Zhuanshu is the oldesst script of Chinese Han writing,and carried the most obvious features in pictorial characters. 770—200BC
隶书(clerical script)
Lishu was a commonly used script in the Han dynasty.It was appeared in the Xi Han dynasty approximately 2100 years ago. It used square and straight lines instead of circular and round strokes of the Zhuanshu scripts.
