The Buffalo is a unique part of the landscape in America. It is a 5000year- species , which once covered the Great Plains from Canada to Mexico with great quantity. So early explorers described the country as" one black robe"(黑袍 者). Buffaloes’ migrating and feeding can diversify animals and plants on the North American prairie.
Although Mattel had been hesitant to risk producing the Barbie doll,Barbie set a new sales record for Mattel after the first year on the market. At a cost of three dollars each,Mattel sold 351000 dolls during the first year of prodution, and within ten years, the public had purchased $500 million worth of Barbie products.

The Indians (or Amerindian ) distribute in North and South America countries, belong to Mongoloi d America branch(蒙古人种美洲支系). The Indians with more than 40,000 years development have produced a lot of different ethnics and languages.They invented the Mayan language(玛雅语言). Their astronomical research accomplishments is quite deep.In addition,they had provided corn, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, tobacco, cocoa and other crops for the world.

In the early 19th century, thousands of American move from the settled regions of the United States to lands farther west. It was called Westward Movement. America extended its territory by the way of buying and invasion. However, in the expansion a large number of Indians were massacred(屠杀), and the survivors were forced to get to a more desolate "reserve" (保留地). The way Indians are forced to migrate also called “trail of tears”(血泪之路).

The idea for Barbie originated when Ruth Handler, part owner with her husband Elliot and her family friend Harold Mattson,noticed that her daughter, Barbara, enjoyed playing with adult female dolls more than with baby dolls. So she decided to create a doll that would allow young girls to evension what they might become as they grew older. And the doll's design was inspired by a German doll called Bild Lilli.

Her creation,named in honor of daughter Barbara and backed by Mattel, debuted at the American Toy Fair in New York City in 1959
