冬至多寒用星是火罗土，夏至多热用星是水孛金。
春分秋分节气平分，气候适宜，五星皆可用。
春金用土计，秋木用水孛。
凡用星得令，入垣升殿，与命宫山向拱夹守照有情，主得富贵。
用星休囚，落陷怒宫，更与命宫山向相刑，则所求艰难，福禄无望。
天星择日尚有命宫用星和山家用星。
山家用星见《讲义二》。
现再把命宫用星解释一下:生我者为恩，我生者为用，我克者为仇，克我者为难。
各命宫的恩用仇难详解如下:寅亥立命属木，水孛为恩，火罗为用，金星为难，土计为仇;卯戍立命属火，木气为恩，土计为仇用，水孛为难，金星为仇;辰酉立命属金，土计为恩，水孛为用，火罗为难，木气为仇;巳申立命属水，金星为恩，木气为用，土计为难，火罗为仇;午宫立命属太阳，金水为恩，火罗为用，木气为难，土计为仇;未宫立命属太阴，金星为恩，木气为用，土计为难，火罗为仇。
二:忌星释义天星择日的忌星主要是节气当令五星。
旺令之时忌见当旺之星，夏天炎热忌见火罗，冬天寒冷忌见水孛，春天木旺木为难星必灾，秋天金强为难星必祸。
凡用星要得时，忌星要失时。
用星得时，造福求吉如愿以偿，忌星得时，造福求吉反祸。
忌星失时居宫失陷，又与坐山方向命宫成吉角拱照，便不能为祸。
三:四时立命宜忌夏时以水孛为用星，立命卯戍二宫属火，以难为用多颠倒，主得富贵而孤独或出不长寿之人。
立命子丑二宫属土，以恩为忌寿而贫，出人虽长寿，但终生贫穷，怀才不遇，钱山难救邓通穷。
立命辰酉二宫属金，以难为忌身不保，不要想指望升官发财，保住性命就不错了。
立命巳申二宫属水，以恩为用真至宝，这是真正的富贵格局。
立命寅亥二宫属木，也是以恩为用的富贵格局。
冬天时节金寒水冷用星是火罗。
立命子丑二宫属土，以恩为用真至宝，富贵尊荣，称心如意，有长安花满任扬鞭之象。
立命卯戍二宫属火亦以恩为用。
立命辰酉二宫属金，以难为用多颠倒，主得富贵孤独到老。
立命巳申二宫属水，以恩为忌寿而贫。
立命寅亥二宫属木，亦以恩为忌寿而贫。
春分前，天气偏寒，宜用火罗土，春分后，天气转热，兼用水孛。
秋分前多热宜用水孛，秋分后转寒用火罗土。
四:宫星妙合宫是命宫，星是用星。
命宫五行得用星相生比和是谓宫星妙合，凡求顺遂，所谋如意，真是春风得意马蹄疾，一日买尽长安花。
如夏日立命巳申，寅亥宫，冬天立命卯戍子丑宫，为“必取宫星俱妙合，长安花满任扬鞭”之局。

2:太阴入星盘十二宫之应断太阴在天宫图上的宫位不同，产生的吉凶应断也不同，视其位于何宫，便知其应验在何主方面。
一宫(命宫):寿命、一切吉凶，外在行为、天性、体质二宫(财帛):金钱、金运、动产、血液、资金、有价证券。
三宫(兄弟):交友、兄弟姊妹、小旅行、交通工具、亲友四宫(田宅):父祖、遗产、不动产、住宅、墓地、矿山五宫(男女):子嗣、投机、创业、娱乐、宴会、戏剧、运动六宫(奴仆):疾病、员工、部下、农作、任用、宠物、服务七宫(夫妻):爱情、婚姻、仇人、代理、契约、配偶、合作八宫(疾厄):遗产、死亡、出生、股票证券、保险业、合股、手术九宫(迁移):智慧、长途旅行、高等教育、外国、宗教、出版十宫(官禄):功名、母亲、事业、地位、法庭、判决、资格十一宫(福德):福禄、社交、社团、精神享受、养子、业绩十二宫(相貌):仪容、祸门、监狱、潜意识、意外事件、慈善事业3:幸运日根据本人生辰八字起定命宫，查用事之日太阴在什么宫，对应主人命盘是什么宫，与此来判断此日课的吉凶，凡太阴临本人命盘的命宫，兄弟宫，迁移宫，财帛宫，官禄宫，奴仆宫是为本人的幸运日，其中临本人命盘的财帛宫，奴仆宫，无论兴工运作，建筑，安葬，立碑，开张，交易，嫁娶，安床，移居，作灶赴任，会友等事，用之则千祥云集，无往不利。
太阴临命宫，兄弟宫，迁移宫最吉，最利出行，可得良朋之助，一切事宜皆有机可图。
临财帛宫，官禄宫，奴仆宫利于商业求财，任职，读书，期望等。

用事之日太阴在申宫为临命宫，若在未宫则为临财帛宫，其如类推。
如太阴临于凶度之宫位时，此日则为本人之最不利日，诸事不宜。
太阴的凶度宫位有疾厄宫，田宅宫。
凡欲得到真正的幸运日，必须先查此月的农历初一日太阴在何宫位，此宫位必须与命盘的行星成吉度或临吉宫，则此月份定主大利，又得幸运之日用事，则福力倍增。
如该月初一的太阴居宫与行星或吉宫成凶度，即90，180度，此时虽得幸运日用事，福力必减或无益于事也。
另外太阴虽临吉宫择得幸运之日，但此日的火土两星不与命宫会弦冲照，这样才能达到造福的目的。
