Effects of trace metal elements on anaerobic treatment of cellulosic ethanol wastewater

Abstract:In the stable operation period of anaerobic treatment of cellulosic ethanol wastewater in the UASB reactor,the effects
of single trace metal element Ni,Co or Fe on the treatment efficiency were investigated by analyzing the changes of COD removal
rate,biogas generation,and methane content in biogas after separately adding trace metal element Ni,Co,Fe in the influent.The
results showed that anaerobic microorganisms could be activated so that anaerobic treatment could be promoted by trace metal
element Ni,Co or Fe in a certain concentration range,and the optimum addition concentrations of single trace metal element Ni,Co
and Fe were 0.4mg几0.2ms/L and 1.Oms/L,respectively.

优于铂基催化剂的非贵金属催化剂
来自韩国蔚山科学技术大 ̄(UNIST),韩国能源技术研
究院(KIER)¥fi美国布鲁克海文国家实验室(BNL)的研究人员,
已发现了新的一类非贵金属催化剂。这些催化剂在氧化还原
反应中表现出比铂催化剂更好的性能,且其生产成本仅为后
者的十分之一。这是一类基于具有高比表面积和可调节的孑L
结构的有序的中孑L卟啉碳(M—OMPC)的非贵金属催化剂。其
有多重优点:①合成方法简单,条件温和;②合成容易放大;
③发达和分层的微孔隙,将有利于燃料和副产物的高效输
送;( 很高的比表面积使可接触反应物的活性位的密度显著
增加。在氧化还原反应中,FeCo—OMPC相对于PI催化剂表
现出更优异的长期耐久性和耐甲醇性能,有望在燃料电池中
获得应用。
