汽车传动系是保证汽车行驶最基本的系统，主要由离合器、变速器、万向节传动轴、驱动桥组成。
只有在上述总成工作情况下，才能将发动机发出的动力顺利地传递到驱动轮，保证汽车的正常行驶。
随着国民经济的增长，人们生活水平的提高，汽车作为一种普及性的逮捕交通工具，在日常生活中越来越受到人们的青睐，汽车使用率只增不减，尽管许多车主们明白汽车防护与维护的重要性，但是由于他们缺乏对汽车整体的认识，导致在其日常的汽车维护工作中，只注重汽车外观与否和车内是否有杂物。
其实这是大多数车主都会走进的一个误区。
通常来说，汽车主要又发动机、底盘、车身、汽车电器4部分组成。
而底盘用来传递动力，是汽车产生运动，并保证汽车正常行驶。
现主要对汽车底盘传动系的基本知识和常见故障进行探讨。
汽车修理就是对出现故障的汽车通过技术手段排查，找出故障原因，并采取一定措施使其排除故障并恢复达到一定的性能和安全标准。

而汽车小修是指：用更换或修理个别零件的方法，保证或恢复汽车工作能力的运行性修理。

比如汽车底盘就越来越得到了众多消费者的重视，这不仅由于汽车底盘是汽车各部件的支撑要件，还在于它直接决定了汽车的安全性、操控性、舒适性和经济性，被形象地称为汽车的“骨骼”。
总体来说，“好骨骼”的评判标准很简单。
驾驶者其实自己就可以感受到汽车底盘的优劣。

汽车的发展也有一个漫长的历程，总的说来，汽车发展史可能分为蒸汽机发明前、蒸汽汽车的问世、大量流水生产汽车开始等三个阶段。
人类最初的工作劳动完全是由本身来完成，根本没有什么汽车和发动机，如果说有的话，在未使用牛和马之前使用的是人体的股份这台发动机。
