(Meaning: I had my breakfast and I'm not hungry now.)

Tip 1: Non continuity verbs(非延续性 动词) and present perfect tense: When non continuity verbs meet the present perfect tense, they need to change the way. They have to transform non continuity verbs to continuity verbs. 在现在完成时态中, 非延续性动词不可以和for, since引导 的延续性时间状语连用。
2) . Continuity Things that started in the past, and are still happening now. In this case, the tense is often used with time expressions such as : since ,for, so far, by now, up to now, these days, in the past ten years, recently,lately,etc.. for-----a period of time

What is Present perfect tense ? Function 1 : 1) Result
Things that happened in the recent past but are connected to the present. It has an effect on the present. In this case, the tense is often used with time expressions such as : already, yet, just, never, ever, before, etc.
Tip2非延续性动词与延续性动词的转换
come/go — be (in) borrow — keep die — be dead begin — be on go out — be off leave — be away buy — have get to know — know go out — be off arrive – be here/there
She must be tired, for she has been dancing all day.她肯定累了,因为她一天一直在跳舞
( Meaning: She began dancing in the past,
and keeps dancing all day. It is because of her non-stop repetitive dancing that makes her tired.)

Meaning: She learned English 3 years ago and now she is still learning it. Great changes have taken place in Shenzhen since 30 years ago Meaning: Great changes took place in Shenzhen 30 years ago, and they've still lasted till now.

They have been waiting for their daughter in the rain for an hour. 他们在雨中等女儿足足一个小时。
(Meaning: They have kept waiting so long in the rain. There is somewhat complaint in waiting for her.)
