教学设计
一、教材分析:
本单元主要通过谈论自己喜欢的音乐及音乐家这个话题来学习含有定
语从句的复合句。
Section A第一课时第一模块围绕the music that…这一话题展开思维(1a),听力(1b),口语(1c)训练。
从结构内容上说,定语从句是初中阶段必需了解的一种句法结构。
本单元将通过一系列的练习(句型结构练习、听力练习、精读写作练习、自我检测、泛读练习)来达到学习目的,完成学习任务。
本课时所进行的是基本的句型结构和部分听力练习,是整个单元学习的双基——基本和基础。
三、教学方法
这一节课我分为两个部分:第一部分引入定语从句的学习;第二部分围绕I like music that I can dance to.这一话题展开思维(1a)、听力(1b)、
口语(1c) 进行授课。
采用情景教学、看图说话、小组对话以及听力训练的方法进行教学。
四、学情分析
我校学生来自农村,知识面狭窄,基础薄弱,部分学生对英语学习失去了信心,还有些学生没有良好的自主学习习惯,语言表达能力不强,特别是用英语表达对他们来说确实有困难。
但经过两年的英语学习,部分学生已有一定的英语自学能力,可利用这部分学生当“领头兵”,在新课传授时起到“示范”及“引领”作用。
当然,个别学生可能反应不积极,这有待于老师的进一步引导、鼓励。
五、教学过程
Step1 Lead-in (10minutes)
1. Talk about the following questions with students.
T: What kind of clothes do you like?
Ss: I like beautiful/soft/comfortable……clothes.
板书: I like beautiful/soft/comfortable……clothes.
T: That is to say you like clothes that are beautiful/soft/comfortable.
板书: I like clothes that are beautiful/soft/comfortable…….
播放音乐: 播放Lady gaga 的Poker face引出noisy/loud
纯音乐《琵琶语》,引出gentle
流行音乐《江南style》引出energy/dance to
李慧珍《天蓝》并让学生跟着哼。
引出sing along with.
周杰伦《青花瓷》,让学生评价其歌词引出Great lyrics,
T: What kind of music do you like?
Ss: I like gentle/energy/noisy/loud music.
T: Unite the two sentences into one sentence like the bellowing:
“I like clothes that are beautiful/soft/comfortable.”
Ss: I Like music that is gentle/energy/noisy/loud.
板书:I Like music that is gentle/energy/noisy/loud.(强调that做从句主语,形容词后不再加music,否则与先行词会重复)

Step2 Presentation and Pair work (10minutes)
1.Show the phrases below by PPT.

2.pair work (Give them some pictures )
1)Ask an advanced student to make a conversation with teacher.
T: What kind of music do you like?
S: I like music that … .What about you?
T: I prefer music that … (引出prefer:更喜欢,并进行讲解)
2)Ask students to make the similar conversations with their partners
using the helpful praises.
Assessment1: Have some pairs students can talk about music using
attributive clauses in class.
Step3 Explain attributive clause simply by PPT
“1+1=1”
It is a club.+I belong to the club.=It is a club that I belong to .
......
Step4 Listening practice (10minutes)
1.Read the instructions of 1b, then Play the recording and ask students to
listen to the tape and finish 1b.
2.Check the answers.
3.Close their books and read after the recording sentence by sentence.
(说明:训练学生的听选信息的能力,再让学生跟读,培养语音和语调。
) Assessment 2: check how many students can understand the listening material entirely.
Step4 Revision
Go through the key points and target language on the blackboard.
