词组知识讲解as well as的用法
A：as well as用：和；也；和……同样好。

用法：该词组为连词，作：同；和；也“讲”时，连接同等并列成分。

连接两个主语时，谓语动词采用就远原则。

例句：1、He speaks japanese as well as English and French.
他不但会说英语和法语，而且还会说日语。

2、 It is important for you as well as for me. 这对我很重要，对你也很重要。

3、 Lily as well as her parents is very fond of classical music.
不但莉莉的父母，而且连莉莉也非常喜欢古典音乐。

4、 She cooks as well as her mother(does). 她烧菜和妈妈一样好。

辩析：as well as/not only…but also; as well as和not only…but also……都有"不但……而且"之意，均连接同等并列成分，但as well as强调的是前项，not only…but also强调的是后项；连接两个主语时，as well as中的谓语动词采用就远原则，not only…but also中的谓语动词采用就近原则。

又如：
1、 We should travel by night as well as by day.
我们不但白天旅行，而且晚上也旅行。

2、 We shall travel not only by day but also by night.

3、 His children as well as his wife were invited to the party.
不但他的太太，而且连他的孩子们都被邀请去参加聚会。

4、 Not only his wife but also his children were invited to the party.
（译文同上）
as well as和as well都有“也；还”之意，但是as well as是连词，连接两个并列成分；as well 是副词，意为“又；另外也”，其后不跟什么成分。

又如：
1、Give me those as well.把那此也给我吧。

2、He sent me a letter and some money as well. 他寄给我一封信，外加一些钱
as well 是放句末的比如：--they can play PSP.
--Mika can do it as well
（他们能玩PSP-- Mika一样能玩）
as well as 和as well的意思都不同
前者是和……一样好后者是和……一样
as well as的用法
as well as意为“除…外”、“同”、“和”、“并”、“也”，与not only相似，在句子中，它强调的是其前面的内容，请体会下列句子的含义。

①He gave me money as well as advice.
他除了给我忠告外，还给我钱。

②We shall travel by night as well as by day.
我们将日夜赶路。

③He has got a car as well as a motorbike.
他不但有一辆摩托车，而且有一辆汽车。

④She's clever as well as beautiful.
她不但漂亮，而且聪明。

as well as与动词连用时，该动词应变成动名词形式。

如：
①She's got a cleaning job at night, as well as working during the day.
她不但白天工作，晚上还当清洁工。

②As well as breaking his leg, he hurt his arm.
他不但摔断了腿，而且还伤了胳膊。

③She sings as well as playing the violin.
她不但会拉小提琴，而且会唱歌。

④The young man speaks French as well as speaking English.
这年轻人不但会讲英语，而且会讲法语。

【注】as well as后接动名词短语，意为“不但…而且…”，若后接从句，则是比较级，两者不可混淆，请看下列例句：
①She sings as well as she plays.
她弹得好，唱得也好。

②He speaks French as well as(he speaks)English.
他英语和法语讲得一样好。

as well用于句末的时候，意思与also和too相近，其中as well和too通常用于句末。

解释为“也”。

如：
①She is not only good at maths, she is good at English as well.
她不但数学好，英语也好。

②He can not only drive motorbike, he can drive bus as well.
他不但会开摩托车，还会开汽车。

③He was in Paris last winter, too.
去年冬天他也在巴黎。

④Mary's sister teaches English, too.
玛丽的姐姐也教英语。

too除了放在句末外，也可以紧接在主语之后，这样比较正式。

①I, too, know how to work out the maths problem.
我也知道怎样解这个数学难题。

②Sally, too, plays the piano.
莎莉也会弹钢琴。

连词性质
as well as连接两个动词时，有三种情况：
1）前后两个动词的时态要一致。

即：若第一个动词是一般现在时，第二个动词也应是一般现在时；若第一个动词是一般过去时，第二个动词也应是一般过去时。

例如：
He publishes（published）as well as prints（printed）his own books．他的书是自己印刷并出版的。

2）如果第一个动词是复合时态，或由can，may，must等加动词构成时，as well as后面可省去助动词或情态动词，此时，as well as意为“既……又……”。

例如：
We are repairing the roof as well as painting the walls．我们在粉刷墙壁，同时也在修理屋顶。

She can ／could sing as well as dance．她既会跳舞也会唱歌。

3）如果第一个动词是不定式，as well as后面的动词也要用不定式，但要去掉to。

例如：You can't expect her to do the housework as well as look after the children．你不可能叫她既照管孩子又做家务。

5．注意as well as的另外两层涵义：
1）as well as还有“除……之外”之意。

例如：
As well as knowing some Russian，she speaks English very well．除了懂得一点俄语之外，她的英语讲得很好。

2）as well as还可视为as．．．as结构，用于副词的同等比较。

可解作“和……一样好”。

例如：He can speak English as well as you can．
他的英语说得和你一样好。
