Shanghai Overseas Chinese Town (hereinafter referred as Shanghai OCT) is a large-scale integrated development project invested by Overseas Chinese Town Group (hereinafter referred as OCT Group) in Yangtze River Delta region. In November 25th 2005, OCT Group and Shanghai Songjiang District Government signed a contract on developing and building Shanghai OCT integrated tourism project together. In March 9th2006, Shanghai Overseas Chinese Town Investment and Development Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred as Shanghai OCT Company) registered formally with a registered capital of 400 million Yuan. Both Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Town Real Estate Development Company asset injected Shanghai OCT Company with 65% and 35% shareholding respectively.
