Jade is a bright wonderful work in the splendid China’s historical and cultural treasure house which appeared from Hemudu culture in New Stone era. Chinese Jade made its long way as 7000 as years till now. Jade had been made in primitive society of South and West Europe and Lake Baikal, etc. Actually, North and South American Indians and New southwest Maoris had also produced Jade. But it was not continued a long time, which determined that it can not be compared to Chinese Jade. A long history of production, superb production process, elegant modeling, gorgeous color, formed the Chinese jade a outstanding national characteristics.
2. “福”字表示好运，人们通常把它写在一张方形纸上，并倒着贴。
因为在普通话里“倒”和“到”是同音字。
因此倒贴的“福”字象征着春天和繁荣昌盛的到来。
“Fu” represents good luck, people usually write it on a piece of square of paper, and hung it upside down. Because “倒” and “到” are homophone in mandarin. Therefore hanging “Fu” upside down symbolizes spring and the arrival of prosperity.
