Step 1:greeting :
Greet the students as they enter the classroom and take their seats .remind them of what they have learnd so fat about animals.Ask students to name some of these animals.(duck chicken cow sheep pig dog cat) Tell the students make the animal sounds loudly when they hear them on the tape .
Step 2 :New concepts:
1. What’s this ?
Ask everyone to stand up .Tell them that the new animal lives in water.Ask if they know what this animal is .Take out the flash card with the picture of fish and the label .Say this is a fish.Ask the students to show how a fish moves. Ask the students to show how fish swim.Say the words fish can swim.Ask the students to repest after me as everyone moves their arms as if swimming .Ask the students to swin around the room as they repeat the new sentence---Fish can swim .
Step 3 :Let’s chant.
Open students book to page 7.Refer the students to page 3.Tell them they are going to learn a very fun chant now .Student sit and listen while the chant is played .Play the chant twice for fun .
