Huilan Pavilion
Huilan Pavilion, consisting of two levels of octagonal gazebos, is covered by colored glazed tiles and supported by 24 red paint pillars. There are spiral staircases inside the pavilion and all the windows upstairs are made of glass. Through all the glass windows, visitors can see the beautiful Qingdao bay and all attractions and famous buildings around in all directions.

Introduction to Qingdao
1. Location Qingdao’s geographical location is superior, located in the middle of
China’s northern coastline and west to the vast hinterland. It is not only a regional hub airport but also an international harbor. Meanwhile, Qingdao is one of the 21 national logistics node cities as well as 42 national comprehensive transport hubs.

Zhan Qiao
Zhan Qiao was built in 1892 by the Qing government to facilitate the transport of military materials. After a number of rehabilitation and reconstruction, now Qingdao Zhan Qiao is 440 meters long and 8 meters wide. It is the witness of history in Qingdao and also the focus of heritage buildings of Qingdao city. As a symbol as well as a very important landmark of Qingdao, Zhan Qiao is the first published national scenic region and also the first national 4A level tourism zone.
4. Natural Resources Qingdao is very rich in natural resources, such as water and biology resources,
animal and plant resources, mineral resources and wind energy resources.
2. Administrative Divisions Qingdao now has six municipal districts (Shinan district, Shibei distrcit,
Licang district, Huangdao district and Chengyang district) and four countylevel cities (Jimo, Jiaozhou, Pindu and Laixi).

3. Economy There are many famous companies and brands in Qingdao, including Haier,
Hisense, Qingdao Beer and Doublestar, etc. Qingdao, therefore, gained the honorary titles of “The City of China’s Brand” and “Top Ten Brand Cities in China” and so on. And in the year of 2008, Qingdao successfully held the 29th Olympic sailing event, thus being honored as “Sailing Capital of the World”. In January, 2011, Shandong Peninsula was approved as blue economic zone by the State Council with Qingdao as its core area and leading city. Qingdao has been in the leading position in Shandong’s economy.
