教学目标：
一、知识目标：
1、能够听、说、认读四个方位词：south , east , west , north 。

2、能够听、说、认读短语：turn left, turn right , go straight 。

3、能够听、说、认读句型： Can I get to the museum ? Go straight for five
minutes. Then turn left.并进行关键词的替换操练。

二、能力目标：
1、能够通过学到的方位词认地图，并为他人指路；
2、能够就不同地图自行编排对话。

三、情感目标
通过中国地图对学生进行爱国主义教育
教学重难点：
重点：掌握四会短语：turn left, turn right , go straight .
难点：straight 的发音。

课前准备：
1、Part B 部分的单词卡片；
2、录音机、录音带以及教学课件。

教学步骤：
1、热身：左右手互动游戏
2、复习：Free talk
通过自由会话，对过去学过的知识进行操练，
如：How do you go to school ? Can you go to school by / on …
? ...What

3、新课呈现：
a．通过左右手引出left/right. 左右手互换，让学生说出来，进行巩固练习。

老师通过作出旋转的手势，引出单词turn，然后自身旋转引出： turn left, turn right ,直走引出词组go straight , 并进行教学；
b．老师发令，学生一起做动作，玩转身游戏来操练词组turn left、turn right 、go straight；
4、学习与操练：
a．通过How can I get to the door / window …？句型对turn left, turn right ,go straight 进行现场运用，直观易掌握，在操练中老师做示范，特意直走不停下来，使学生很快能够想到课文里的句子for five minutes,从而说出go straight for 5 seconds 的句子。

操练句子引出本课时句型：How can I get to the museum ?
b．板书turn left、turn right、go straight并画出方向箭头，显示出指南针图，从而教授south 、east 、 west 、 north。

c．老师以本人为参照物，左右手作出手势，带领学生操练方位词
d.出示中国地图巩固句型west /east /south /northof …(place)，并进行爱
国教育。

T: I love China ,I love the cities of China. I know Beijing is the capital of China , I know Shanghai is the biggest city in China.How about you ? Look at the map of China , and talk about it .
学生就地图介绍中国主要城市地理位置.
T:Where is Beijing？--- Beijing is east of Shanghai
拓展到Beining is in the north of China.对…is in the east/west/south/north of China.句型进行拓展学习。

e.出示课本中的地图，进行听力练习，对句型west /east /south /north
of …(place)进行进一步操练。

f.请学生听Let’s talk 部分录音，在老师发下的城市平面图上标出到达post
office 的路线。

g.看课本中对话听录音，同桌进行模仿对话练习。

5、巩固延伸
Group work :4人一组，从课本中的地图中选地点，告诉搭档如何到达．起点: cinema，小组操练后，最后上台进行展示。
