It is from primary English Grade 4 the 2nd semester. This lesson 6 is from unit 1. It is the last lesson of the whole unit. It makes a great conclusion for the whole unit.After learning this lesson, Ss will be able to get a full review of the whole unit, meanwhile their reading and listening abilities will be improved.Then we will go to analysis the Ss. The primary school Ss are fond of learning English, but they cannot focus on one thing for a long time. My teaching should be attractive to them.They had learned English for one year and a half, so they have some knowledge background. But every S is different; they are not in same level. Teaching design should be made with considering this.According to the new curriculum standard, I made 3 aims for this lesson, knowledge aims, ability aims and emotional aims.The 1st one is the knowledge aims. Ss will learn some new words, such as …..; and some language pattern, such as…..The 2nd one is the ability aims. Ss will be able to use the new words and the new language pattern in daily life. At the meantime, their reading and writing ability will be developed.The 3rd one is the emotional aims. There are several new words, I will write them out and help them with reading.After this, Ss will grasp the news words, which will be in the listening material. This will help them for the following learning.Next we will go to while reading. Ss will need to listen to the tape for 3 times.After listening for the first time, Ss will need to find the answers of 3 simple questions for what, why and where.Listening 2nd time. Ss will be able to filling the blanks on the note book.Listening 3rd time. Ss will need to read after the tape and they will be able to retell the main idea of the material.Through this part, Ss will know the listening content well. And their listening skill will be improved, so is their speaking skill.The next part is after listening. I will lead the Ss to read this paragraph. And review the new words. Then Ss need to make a survey among classmates. They need to ask at least 3 Ss and write down their answers. After all they done, I will ask 2 or 3 Ss to show their workout in front of classmates.After doing this, Ss will be familiar with all the new things we learned today and use the new words and language patterns in daily communication.Summary and homeworkOne of Ss will be asked to be assistant teacher to make a summary of what we learned today. If any missing parts, all of Ss can make a complement.For this, Ss will get a review of what we learnt and improve their speaking skill.For homework, Ss need to make an interview with their parents and write down their answers.By this, Ss can think about what we learnt and practice it. And their writing skills will be improved too. The last part is analysis of blackboard. The new words and new language patterns will be showed on the blackboard. Ss can find out all the key knowledge and get review easily.That is all.
