Fläche:6400 m2Der Seattle Civic Square ist das Endstück des Seattle Civic Center Master Plans.
Eimal fertig gestellt, wird der Komplex mit dem Turm und dem vorgelager-ten öffentlichen Platz eine Vielzahl an Nutzungsmöglichkeiten für Einzel-handel, Business und Anwohner bieten.
Sowohl der Turm als auch der flexible Freiraum sind so gestaltet, dass eine große Anzahl an Aktivitäten, von Großevents bis hin zum individuellen Ak-tivitäten, beherbergt werden können.
Das Rückrat der Gestaltung und das zentrale Kunstelement des Platzes wird durch die Wasserkaskade gebildet, welche die Natur der Umgebung widerspiegelt.
Indem das Wasser die steilen Stufen des Platzes hinab fließt, repräsentiert es die Bewegung des Wassers von den umliegenden Bergen zum Puget Sound.
Das gesammelte Regenwasser des Daches und der umgebenden Belags-flächen wird die Wasserelemente versorgen und gleichzeitig ein Teil des nachhaltigen Regenwassermanagements sein.

Seattle Civic Square
Seattle, Washington, USA Seattle Civic Square is the final piece of the Seattle Civic Center Master Plan. When finished, the one city block, with its mixed-use tower and adjoining public plaza, will offer a variety of experiences through its retail, office and residential ammenities, within the tower as well as the flexible open space of the plaza, designed to accomodate a range of activities, from large events to individual enjoyment of the space.
The open space layout is planned as an ‚urban landscape sculpture‘. Its parts are integrated to create the composition of the open space and together are seen as the “big gesture”.
The backbone of the design and the Square’s central art element will be its cascading water feature, which celebrates the drama found in the surrounding landscape with 3 distinct water elements. Flowing down the sites steep topography, they represent the movement of water from the Cascade Mountains to the Puget Sound.
Stormwater from the tower rooftop and surrounding hardscape used to help supply these elements will be a part of the sustainable stormwater
management system.

西雅图市政广场
美国华盛顿州西雅图市西雅图市政广场是西雅图市政中心总体规划之中的最后一个地块。
建成之后，一个拥有多功用大厦并毗邻市政广场的城市街区，将依托大厦内部以及广场灵活、开放的空间，提供多样的商业、办公和住宅场地，满足从举办大型活动到个人空间享受在内的系列场地需求。
开放式的空间布局被规划作为城市景观主体形象，其各部分被整合以创建开放空间各组合部分，并一同被视为城市主体形态。
级联水元素成为了设计的主体和广场的中心艺术元素，用以展现周围景观之中的三个各具特色的水元素。
自场地陡峭的地形流下，它们代表了水流自喀斯喀特山脉向普吉特海湾流淌。
从大厦楼顶和周围硬质景观搜集的雨水被用来作为水景观要素的水
源，它们将成为可持续雨水管理系统的一部分。
