The Dead Sea is not really a sea. It's a big lake. The lake was 4,000 meters below the sea level. It’s very hot there and the water is very salty. So you can often see many people floating in the lake, reading books or newspapers. The water in the lake is very blue and the air is clean. As a result, many people go to the lake in winter.
