As we know E-books become more and more popular. They have some advantages. But I still think E-books can’t replace traditional books. There are three reasons.
First,traditional books are much cheaper than E-books. Of course you can download some books from the internet which are free, but at first you have to pay a lot of money to buy electronic equipments such like smartphone,iPad or kindle. If you don’t ha ve these you can’t read books everywhere. As we know there are still so many poor people, some of them even can’t afford traditional books,how can they buy such expensive things to read books?
Second,to young kids, traditional books are much better to them to learn knowledge. I have lived in America for 3 months, I found that even in America when kids are very young,their parents give them traditional books to read, not E-books. Because kids always don’t have very good self-control. If you give them smartphones to read maybe after few minutes reading they will begin to play games. That’s why you can find so many apps for parents to keep watch on their kids whether they are reading or not.
Third, traditional books are better to our eyes. You can find that if you read E-books for long time,your eyes will easily get tired. So to protect our eyes, please choose traditional books.
Above all, I think traditional books can’t be replaced.
