The Tiefo Temple in Dongguang County The Tiefo Temple was listed as one of
Hebei Provincial Key Cultural Preservation Centers after liberation. During the period of China’s reform and opening since 1978, Dongguang County Government has asked for the provincial approval of Tiefo Temple’s restored building to carry forward the Chinese nation’s fine cultural heritage. On 22th, March, 1987, with 5 million yuan investment, it was started to rebuild and was repaired by new. It was on massive expansion in 2004. With 13350 square meters floor area, it is composed by a group of simple and tasteful, grand and imposing building in the style of the ancients, which are Tianwang Palace Hall, Guanyin Palace Hall, Dizang Palace Hall, Yaoshi Palace Hall, Da xiongbao Palace Hall, Bell Tower and Drum Tower. With 8.24 meters height and 48 tons weight, the Sakyamuni Buddha statue in Da xiongbao Palace Hall of Tiefo Temple is the largest seat cast iron Buddha statue.
Cangzhou Iron Lion Cangzhou Iron Lion scenic spot is located in west of
Dongguan village of JiuzhouTown in CangCounty, 20 kilometers southeast of CangzhouCity. With the existing 6 workers, it belongs to Cangzhou Cultural Relics Bureau. Made in Guangshun third year of Houzhou Dynasty, with 6-meter length, 3-meter body width and 5.5-meter height, it weighs about 40 tons. It sits north and faces south, with mud on its boddy, lotus shaped pot on its back, loincloth on its prothorax and hips, wave shaped hair on the temples, large mouth opened, eyes glared, head flung and four limbs of the body diverging, which looks like it is going to walk. With vivid molding, virile and grand force, it is a casting process rarity with the oldest age, largest body and finest shape in the history of our country. According to Cangzhou historical development trend, from the historical stories and character events in Cangzhou, all the exhibitions in the scenic spot have taken the Iron Lion as center to give a complete presentation of Cangzhou historical changes and Cangzhou’s outstanding contributions to Chinese Nation’s Development History, which have become a important classroom for people to learn Cangzhou.
Ma Zhiyuan: A famous play wright in Yuan Dyansty ,comes from Dongguang county in Cangzhou. 马致远是元代著名的戏曲家，是沧州东光县 人。
Ji Xiaolan: Chief complier(遵从者，依从者）of imperial(皇帝的）collection of four in Qing Dynasty. 纪晓岚是清朝的，直隶沧州河间府。
Huo Yuanjia: A famous master(大师）of martial(打斗的） arts, comes from Dongguang county in Cangzhou. 霍元甲是著名的武术家，是沧州东光县人。

Cangzhou is an ancient region close to Beijing-hangzhou Grand Canal and historic city. Locate in southeast of Hebei Province, north to Beijing and Tianjin, south to Shandong Province, with Beijing-hangzhou Grand Canal running through the urban district, Cangzhou was named because of its facing the Bo Sea on the east, which means a state of the sea.
