本型泵的吸入口与出口均在水泵轴线下方,与轴线垂直呈水平方向,泵壳中开,检修时无需拆卸进水管路，排水管路及电动机房(或其他原动机)。
从联轴器向泵的方向看去,水泵为顺时针方向旋转。
根据需要也可生产逆时针旋转的泵,但订货时应特殊提出。
本型泵的主要零件有:泵体、泵盖、叶轮、轴、双吸密封环、轴套、轴承等。
泵体与泵盖构成叶轮的工作室,在进出口法兰上制有安装真空表和压力表的管螺纹孔,进出口法兰的下部制有放水的管螺纹孔。
叶轮经过静平衡试验，用轴套和两侧的轴套螺母固定，其轴向位置可以通过轴套螺母进行调整,叶轮的轴向力利用其叶片的对称布置在理论上达到平衡，残余轴向力则由非传动端的轴承承受。
泵轴由两个单列向心球轴承支承，轴承装在泵体两端的轴承体内，用黄油或稀油润滑。
双吸密封环用以减少水泵叶轮处漏水。
泵壳体采用树脂砂造型，材质均匀、外观质量好。
内外表面铸造精度高，水力效率高。
泵主要零部件均由专机生产，加工精度高。
泵体、泵盖是国内唯一采用专机生产的厂家，其优点是保证主轴运转的同心度。

用途：S型单级双吸中开卧式离心泵，供输送不含固体颗粒的Product Overview:S series single stage double suction centrifugal pumps are newly designed by SSG with widely adopted abroad technology and they are improved and designed based on this industry. The performance parameter is in conformity with pump line standard with high efficiency and wide range. The pumps operate steadily with a long service life.The suction inlet and discharge outlet are both below the pump axial line and vertical to the axial line. When repairing, there is no need to dismantle the motor and pipeline. Viewing from the coupling, pump rotation is clockwise, and also can be counterclockwise when we get the special order. Main spare parts of this type: casing, cover, impeller, shaft, double suction wear ring, shaft sleeve, bearing and so on.The pump casing and cover are the workspace of the impeller, there is screw hole in inlet and outlet flanges for vacuum gauges and pressure gauges and drain holes.The impeller is fixed with shaft sleeve and sleeve nuts after the static balance test. Its axial position can be adjusted with sleeve nuts; the axial force is balanced with blade’s symmetrical collocation, and maybe some remnant axial force is endured by bearing on non-driven end. The shaft is supported by two single-row radial ball bearings, and bearings are in the bearing units which are lubricated with butter or grease. The double suction wear ring is used to reduce the water leakage at the place of impeller.The pump casing is casted by resin sand which has a good outline quality. The main parts are produced by special machine which has a high precision. We are the only manufacturer which uses special machine to produce the pump cover; its advantage is guaranteeing the concentricity of the main shaft. SKF and NSK bearings are available upon customer’s request. The seal is lubricated, washed, cooled and air-sealed by the medium. It has a long life, low leakage, and low power consumption to prevent air from entering so as to cause vibration, noise and decrease of performance.
