Sorting refuse is a good way to save resources. In general, waste can be classified into four categories—recyclable rubbish, kitchen waste, harmful rubbish and other waste. Recyclable rubbish includes waste paper, plastic, glass, metal and cloth items. Kitchen waste usually includes leftovers, bones, vegetable roots, leaves, peel, etc. Harmful rubbish includes used batteries, broken lamps, expired drugs, etc. Other waste usually consists of things that are difficult to recycle, such as bricks, toilet paper, tissues, etc.
