Every year, tens of thousands of Chinese middle school students go to foreign countries for further study. The popular destinations are America, Britain, Australia, Japan and Canada. Chinese children hope a lot to go abroad to get a wider view of the world. However, life in foreign countries is a big challenge for them, because they will meet a culture shock and language problems.
Amy Lee, a 15-year-old student from Shenzhen, began to study in a senior high school in Vancouver, Canada, in January. To her surprise, her teachers there never force students to study. When one drives to work for one year，he uses as mush energy as a bus rider uses in 10 years. So walk or ride your bicycle to work or school whenever possible. If it is necessary，you can use public transport instead of your car. Each person using public transport for a year instead of a car can save nearly a ton of pollutants，including CO2，from going into the atmosphere.
