• In 1944, Mandela and Evelyn married ,he brought up 4 children with her.
In 1958, the 22-year-old Winnie Mandela became the second wife, but two divorced in 1996.They had two daughters.
He visited several African countries in 1962.
In 1962,Mandela was arrested and sentenced to five years in prison with hard labor. In 1964,Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment(终生监禁).
MaTER CAREER
In 1990 .02.11, the government released Mandela because of the public opinion pressure.
After he gou out of the prison,he got the freedom ,but he never change his strong mind, which is build a new,free and equal South Africa.

Mandela was arrested in 12.05,1956 and indicted with treason.（叛国罪） The court found Mandela not guilty in 1961. Mandela began military actions in 12.16.1961
In July 18, 1998, Mandela 80 years old birthday ,he got married with Lhasa Machel.

• He took his first action when he was still at university in 1940.He took part in a student’s strike（罢课） and expelled(开除) from school。 • He joined in African National Congress in 1944.（（ANC）南非非 洲人国民大会。简称：非国大 ）
