The story is ridiculous but is also real. From this tale we know that the children are pure, they are not polluted by any other human behavior, they have unusual but wonderful thoughts. Besides, they are full of curiosity and eager to knowledge. We need to protect their pure and beautiful world. On the other hand, people who are in the oppressed should be brave enough to fight against the governors who oppress and exploit them. Only in this way can they gain their rights.

In the story, not only does the author want to criticize the violent governors, but he is also angry and disappointed at the people, including himself. So Lewis Carroll expects to wake up the oppressed people by this tale.
