1. What kind of woman does Kate Chopin intend to create in her TheStory of an Hour?After I finished the novel 《The Story of an Hour》，it gave me a big shock. Because the end of the novel seemed to be unreasonable ,but thought-provoking , and I deeply felt that: Body and soul free is so important to a person.The heroine of the novel was a woman named Mrs.Mallard who was suffered from heart trouble. In order not to stimulate her so much, her sister told her the information about her husband’s death as gently as possible. Generally speaking , a wife would be overwhelmed with sorrow as a result of losing her most important partner. But Mrs.Mallard did not hear the information as many women have heard the same, with a paralyzed inability to accept its significance.A sense of un-calm came from her within. Not because of a serioussorrow ,but was a little bit happy to get that massage . Because her husbands’ death would leave her in a total free, she would live for herself .There would not be powerful will bending her to do something she didn’t like at all. But ,when her husband stood in front of her because of a mistake ,she died of heart disease as a result of enduring so many stimulation.To summarize, the novel 《The Story Of An Hour》，reveals the tragedy that ,women in that times were oppressed by men and were eager to get rid of the oppression.读完《一个小时的故事》，我最大的感受就是震惊。

这篇小说的主人公是Mrs.Mallard, 因她患有心脏病，她的亲友断断续续地告知她丈夫的死讯。

可是她并没有像其他妇女一样失魂落魄，而是立马扑到她妹妹的怀里哭了起来。
