建筑设计是在总体规划的前提下，根据设计任务书的要求，综合考虑基地环境、使用功能、综合选型、施工、材料、建筑设备、建筑艺术及经济等。
着重解决了建筑物与周围环境、建筑物与各种细部构造，最终确定设计方案，画出建筑施工图。
结构设计是在建筑物初步设计的基础上确定结构方案；选择合理的结构体系；进行结构布置，并初步估算，确定结构构件尺寸，进行结构计算。
结构计算包括荷载计算、变形验算、内力分析及截面设计，并绘制相关的结构施工图。
在总体规划设计时，考虑到场地要求、绿化设施、其它功能要求，以及周围建筑物的影响，设计时采用一字型。
总之，适用、安全、经济、使用方便是本设计的原则，两部分空间合理，连接紧凑，主次分明，使建筑空间的舒适度加以提高。
框架结构是目前应用最为广泛的结构形式之一，由梁和柱组成的结构叫框架结构，这种结构形式有优点也有自身的缺点，缺点是侧向变形大，抗侧刚度大，优点是建筑平面布置灵活，可以做成较大空间的会议室，车间，住宅等，可以分割成小房间，或拆除隔断改成大空间结构，立面也富有变化，通过合理设计，框架结构本身的抗震性能良好，能承受较大荷载，能承受较大变形。
本次设计的任务要求有：建筑设计，结构设计，结构计算三部分。
建筑设计包括：总平面图，平面图，立面图，剖面图及节点大样图。
结构设计包括：梁板布置图、配筋图、构件详图。
根据民用建筑实用、经济原则，在可能的条件下，注意美观的原则，本设计首先考虑旅馆的实用性,经济实用，充分显示现代建筑的特点。
通过本次设计，我们学到了不少知识，分析问题、解决问题的能力有所提高，对今后的学习和工作有很大的帮助。
知识水平有所提高，基本上将所学到的知识全部应用于设计中。

梁板柱均为现浇，建筑面积约为8950m2，建筑物平面为L形，宽20.2m，长为80.5m.首层层高为4.2m，标准层层高为3.9 m，共20.7m。
拟建房屋所在地的设计地震动参数αmax=0.08,T g=0.35s,基本雪压S0=0.40KN/ m²,基本风压ω0=0.45KN/ m²,地面粗糙度为B类。
地表下黄土垂直及水平分布较均匀，为可塑性状态，中等压缩性、弱湿陷性，属于Ⅰ级非自重湿陷性黄土地基。
土的自重为19 KN/m³,孔隙比为0.8,液性指标为0.833,地基承载力特征值f ak=150 KN/ m²,土壤最大冻结深度为50cm。
