本课程的主要目的是对本科高年级学生进行口语、听力等跨文化交际视听说技能的训练,提高学生的听力理解水平,口语表达能力,对语言运用的分析理解能力,这是课堂教学中的重要体现。
同时,《跨文化交际视听说》课程着眼于扩展学生的国际文化视野,培养学生讲英语作为国际交流语言使用的能力。
本课程以影视片段、相关文章和交际案例等视听说素材为载体,通过视听、阅读,以及师生之间、生生之间的口语交互活动来促进跨文化理解、增强跨文化意识。
二、教学基本要求:《英语视听说》把传统、单一、独立的视频课、听力课、口语课,改革成为视、听、说相结合的三位一体的立体化英语教学,从而改变了教学方法单一,听力和口语课相互脱节的教学现状。
同时,利用多媒体教学课件,通过声音、图像、文字、动画全方位、立体化界面,营造出身临其境、轻松愉快的语言氛围,实现了师生、生生互动,加大了对学生的感官刺激,使教学更形象化、立体化、生动化,让学生在逼真的情景下进行英语实践,从而提高学生的兴趣和记忆力,充分地调动了学生学习的主动性和积极性。
融合交际式教学与启发式教学,避免由教师“满堂灌”引起的枯燥乏味,同时注重师生之间、生生之间的互动作用,通过丰富多彩的课堂活动使学生的学习积极性和自主学习的能力被有效地激发出来。
课堂主要用英语授课,保持课程内容结构清晰,逻辑严谨,语言准确流畅;要合理分配理论讲解与课堂实践操作的时间,课堂讲解、学习任务和练习要与学生的学习实际紧密结合,保持授课内容的生动性和实用性。
