1教学目标
1、语言技能目标:能简单运用现在完成时询问最近已经发生的事,如:Have you read Robinson Crusoe yet? 并作肯定和否定回答;能运用最基本的现在完成时结构来谈论自己或他已经做完的事,如:I have read Little Women and
Jack has read Tom Sayer.
2、语言知识目标:学习并初步掌握现在完成时的结构及基本概念,如:Have you read ...?
3、情感态度目标:通过讨论学生所读过的名著,使他们了解一些名著的大致内容,激发学生读书的兴趣,同时通过对名著的简单赏析,培养学生积极向上,不轻言放弃的良好品格。

由于大多数学生是首次接触现在完成时态,可能会觉得有点困难。

教材以读过的名著为话题切入,帮助学生较好地理解理现在完成时。

在此基础上,再进一步开展讨论,学习带有already 与yet的现在完成时态,较快地激发学生的学习积极性,从而达成本课的教学目标。

Step 1 Warming-up
Show a short video about Robinson Crusoe for the ss to watch before class. Then in class talk about the movie with the students:
Do you know the movie?
What is the name of it?
(Robinson Crusoe)
Have you watched the movie yet?
(Teach: watch-watched-watched)
Step2 Presentation
(Talk about Robinson Crusoe,make the Ss get familiar with the Present Perfect Tense)
Go on talking about the movie by asking the ss some questions:
Who is the movie talking about? ----Robinson.
Have you heard of Robinson yet?
Yes, I have. I have already heard of him.
No, I haven’t. I haven’t heard of him yet.
(write down these three sentences on the blackboard)
Where did Robinson live? ---On an island. (Teach: island)
Have you lived on an island yet? (Ss answer freely)
What is the movie about?
--It’s about a man named Robinson who lives on an island alone.
What’s on the isand? Are there any …on it?
There are many wild animals on the island. = The island is full of wild animals. (Teach: full of)
Have you travelled to an island full of wild animals? (Ss answer freely)
(Teach: travel-travelled-travelled)
Then talk about more details about the movie to make the ss know more about Robinson Crusoe, after that get the ss to express their own opinions about it by asking them: What is it like?
What have you learned from Robinson?
(Teach: learn—learned/learnt—learned/learnt)

Step 3 Free-talking
T: Actually there is also a famous book named Robinson Crusoe, right? And it’s a classic. (Teach: classic)
Have you read the book yet? (Teach read-read-read)
Have you read any other classic yet? What are they?
(Talk about classics the Ss have read briefly)
Show the Ss other books and ask:
Have you read these classics?
(Match the Chinese titles with the English ones)
What are they about?
(Read and match)
Ask the ss the following questions:
Have you read …yet?
What’s it about?
What’s it like?
The ss work in pairs and make up the similar conversation.(Pairwork)
Step 4 Listening
Listen to 1b and check the answers by asking:
Has …read …yet?
Yes, he/she has. He/She has already read it.
No, he/she hasn’t. He/She hasn’t read it yet.
What does he/she think of it?
After checking the answers, ask the ss to do pairwork according to the chart.
Go on with 2a and 2b.
Get the students to say:
…has read …. …and …have read ….
Step 5 Game: True or Dare
Rules: the students try to speak out the names of books, but they should not repeat, or he/she will be punished. As a punishment, they can choose “True”or “Dare”.
Design some activities:
True:
1. Have you ever copied others’homework?
2. Have you said “I love you”to someone? If yes, who?
3. Has your best friend ever borrowed your money but not returned it?
4. Has your father argued with your mother? If yes, what did you do?
Dare:
Choose one classmate not full of confidence and say to him or her “Baby, you are the best!”Act as if you had lots of treasures.Say something about a classic you have read.Hug one of your classmates.
Step 6 Conclusion
What have we learned?
总结现在完成时结构及最基本的概念。

学生根据动词原形说出过去式及过去分词形式,然后引导学
自主总结动词过去分词形式规律。

Step 8 Groupwork
Ss work in groups of four, make a survey to find out what classics their partners have read, what they
like best and why. Then write a report.。
