1.4 Additional requirements for toys incorporating lasers and light emittingdiodes (LEDs) are given in Annex E.装有激光器和发光二极管的玩具，还另外要符合附录E中的要求。

1.5 Electrical toys also have to comply with EN 71, since it covers hazards otherthan those arising by the use of electricity.电动玩具同时还要符合EN 71的要求, 因为它适用于除用电产生的危险的其他危险。

Note 3:Transformers for toys and battery chargers are not considered to be a toy, even if supplied with it.注3：玩具的变压器和电池充电器不被认为是玩具，即使它随玩具一起提供。

2.0 Environment :测试环境:T he tests are carried out in a draught free location at an ambienttemperature of 20°C ± 5 °C. (*5.11*)所有的测试要在一个无风, 环境温度为20°C ±5 °C的条件下进行.(*5.11*)3.0 Precondition : 预处理：(1) Before testing is started, the toy is preconditioned by submitting it tothe tests of the following subclauses of EN71-1: (*5.15*)样品开始测试前，应按EN71-1的下列条款对样品进行预处理。

∙8.5, Drop test, for toys having a mass less than 5kg including batteries, irrespective of the age group;∙落摔测试，重量不超过5 kg(含电池)的玩具，不考虑年龄组因素；∙8.21, Static strength test for sit-on or stand-on toys;∙静态应力测试，供乘坐或站立的玩具；∙8.22, Dynamic strength test for wheeled ride-on toys;∙动态应力测试，乘骑玩具；∙8.4.2.1, Tension test, however, the force being 70N independent of the dimensions and applicable independent of age group;∙拉压力测试，施力70N，而不考虑玩具的尺寸和年龄组的因素。

∙8.4.2.2, Tension test for seams, for toys having textile or other flexible materials covering batteries or other electrical parts;∙拼缝拉压力测试，用于纺织品或柔韧材料覆盖电池或其他电气部件的玩具;(2) Compliance with EN71-1 is not checked after the preconditioning.However the security of the battery compartment cover is checked(see 14.6 and 14.7)预处理后不检查是否符合EN71-1，电池室盖的的安全会在14.6和14.7中进行检查。

However, the tests of (*14*) to(*17*) may be made on separate toys. If the toy does not operateafter the tests of (*9*)the subsequent tests are carried out on aseparate toy.
