简析信息资源数字化对社会的影响摘要：如今，随着现代信息技术的发展和网络环境的形成，信息的生产、存储和利用方式发生了革命性变化，数字信息资源以传统信息资源难以比拟的优势，逐渐成为信息资源的主体。
信息资源数字化的概念：所谓数字化，就是利用现代信息技术对传统介质的图像、文字和声音进行压缩处理,使其转化为数字信息,然后通过计算机技术进行储存,通过网络通讯技术进行传播、接受,使得信息资源能更方便的进行携带、储存和传输。
数字化信息不仅是一个国家的数字资产和学术成果的数字存档，而且是支撑信息社会建设，实现政务、商务和社会活动信息化的至关重要的要素。
一个国家基于自主创新的科技进步、经济发展、文化建设以及国际竞争力的提高，无不依赖于以数字信息的组织、开发、传播和提供为内容的数字化信息服务。
信息资源数字化已经成变得越来越普及并将成为信息发展的趋势。
而信息资源数字化所带来的并不都是益处，也存在着一定的弊端，一系列的问题也随之而来。
同时在当今社会，信息数字化的发展也存在着一定的阻碍。

由于通信技术和计算机的发展，信息一跃成为非常重要的资源，而信息资源的数字化，对提高利用效率十分重要。
信息资源数字化究竟给我们生产生活带来了哪些，而它自身的发展又有什么样的优势，以及现今信息资源数字化中的阻碍和问题都和人们有着密不可分的联系。
1.信息资源的分类及其特点按照互联网所提供的服务来进行划分，网络信息资源包括：WWW信息资源、FTP信息资源、Telnet信息资源、USENET/Newsgroup信息资源、LISTSERV/MailingList信息资源、Gopher信息资源、WAIS信息资源。
(l)WWW信息资源。
WWW的含义是环球信息网(World Wide Web)，又叫万维网，它是一个基于超级文本(HyperText)方式的信息查询工具，是目前互联网上使用最广泛的信息存储与查询的数据格式和显示方式[1]。
(2)FTP信息资源。
FTP(FileTransferProtocol)是互联网上广泛使用的一种服务，可被用来在两台位于互联网上的计算机之间传输文件。
(3)Telnet信息资源。
Telnet远程登录是把用户正在使用的终端或计算机变成互联网上某一远程主机的一台仿真终端，在授予的权限内分享该主机的数据、文件等信息资源。
Telnet采用客户机/服务器工作模式。
(4)USENET/Newsgroup信息资源。
它是一个包含成千上万讨论组(Newsgroup)的全球系统，其讨论内容几乎覆盖了当今社会生活的各个方面，包括了人们所能想象的任何专题。
(5)LISTSERV/Mailing List信息资源。
邮件列表的主要功能是为有共同兴趣的一组用户建立一种关联，使用户彼此拥有一个网上交流的空间，其实质是一种“一对多”式的电子邮件通信服务。
(6)Gopher信息资源。
Gopher是基于菜单驱动的互联网信息查询工具。
在菜单指引下，用户通过选取自己感兴趣的信息资源，对互联网上远程联机信息系统进行实时访问。

2.国内信息资源发展的现状及趋势近些年来，信息资源在信息技术的推动和影响下，正发生着非常深刻的变化，并呈现出下述几个方面的特征：1.信息资源第一信息资源伴随着图书、情报信息业发展的始终，人类历史上还没有哪个时代象现在一样，信息资源以如此巨大的加速度飞快膨胀；同时，信息资源的重要性也越发突出。
2.网络化情报信息业是最早利用网络的行业之一，网络已在情报信息业获得广泛应用，利用Intranet和Internet传播信息资源已经发展为情报信息业的主流。
互联网的发展风起云涌，它成为信息资源数字化发展的重要内在因素和原动力。
各国专利机构及国际性专利组织，纷纷上网，充分利用这一现代化技术，宣传专利知识、传播利用信息。
利用计算机进行网上检索已发展成为最为迅猛的网络化专利文献信息服务方式[2]。
3.服务个性化信息资源的膨胀以及用户需求的多样化，使得专利文献、信息的个性化服务逐渐成为重要的发展趋势。
传统的开门服务方式会相对萎缩，大量深化、细致及带有研究性的服务，会不断出现。
