為了達到峰會場地所需的隱密與安全性，我們將原本與陸地連接 的半島切開，使基地成為一獨立的島嶼。不但達到場地對於安全 性的高度要求，也藉貫通的水道達到較好的水體流動性，進而改 善水質。 Site strategy includes transformation of original peninsular into a private and secure island. While enhancing site security as required by the summit, connecting the waterway to create an island also improve water quality with better hydro-dynamics.

場所，我們在北京雁棲湖這塊擁有得天獨厚壯麗景致的基地上， 整合建築、總體規劃、景觀與生態環境規劃等各項設計領域，以 以國際的視野，重新詮釋我們心中所想像的現代中國。 Yanxi Lake International Conference Complex is the designated venue for future major international summits and conferences in China. An integrated design approach with architecture, master planning, urban & landscape design and environmental planning is taken to interpret this “Modern Chinese” vision with a global perspective at the spectacular site of Yanxi Lake.

整体空间布局的靈感來自於傳統中國皇家居所的中軸線配置。項 目裡重要的設計元素沿著南北軸線配置，而東西向的軸線上則從 入口特色景觀橋樑開始，配置面向湖面的各個景觀節點。 The overall spatial layout takes hints from Chinese Royal formal processions, with key program components placed along the prominent N-S axis and signature entry bridge to lakefront landscape node on the E-W axis.
