介词in和on用法辨析
一、表示“在墙上”
There is a map on the wall. 在这墙上有一张地图。

There is a window in the wall. 在这墙上有一栋窗子。

分析：“在墙上”可用on the wall或in the wall来表示，但是表示在墙表面上的东西，要用介词on，而表示在墙的里面的东西，则用介词in。

二、表示“在河里”
There is a boat on the river. 在河里有一条船。

There are many fish in the river. 在河里有很多鱼。

分析：“在河里”表示为on the river或in the river，但是on the river通常用来描述一些“漂在河面上”的事物，如小船等。

如果描述那些在水中的事物，那么就要用in the river来表示。

三、表示“在……车上”
There are some Young Pioneers on/in the bus. 在公共汽车上有一些少先队员。

There is a scientist on/in the train. 在火车上有一位科学家。

分析：表示“在……车上”时，不同的车要用不同的介词，如：in the car（在小汽车上），on the truck（在卡车上），on the bike（在自行车上），但是公共汽车、火车例外，in 和on都可以使用。

四、表示“在树上”
There are some birds in the tree. 在树上有一些鸟。

There are many apples on the tree. 在树上长着许多苹果。

分析：介词词组in the tree和on the tree都表示“在树上”，但是前者一般用来描述“落在树上的”或“在树上活动的人或物”；而后者一般是指本身生长在树上的叶子、果实等。

五、表示“在报纸上”
There is a picture in the newspaper. 在报纸上有一幅照片。

There is a red pen on the newspaper. 在报纸上有一只红钢笔。

分析：介词词组in the newspaper和on the newspaper都表示“在报纸上”，但是前者用来表示印在报纸上的文字、表格或图片；而后者则是表示放在报纸上的东西。

六、表示“在北部”
Zunyi is in the north of Guizhou. 遵义位于贵州北部。

Guizhou is on the north of Guangxi. 贵州位于广西北部。

分析：介词词组in the north of 和on the north of都表示“在……北部”，但是其中介词不同，表达的含义则不同。

前者表示甲地从属于乙地，是从属关系；而后者表示甲乙地接壤，无从属关系。

七、表示“在早上/中午/晚上”
WU Na listens to English in the morning. 早上吴娜听英语。

WU Na does her homework on the morning of Sundays. 每个星期天早上吴娜做家庭作业。

分析：表示泛指每天的早晨、下午、晚上，要用介词in，构成短语in the morning/afternoon/evening；而只有特指某日的早上、下午、晚上，才用介词on表示。

八、表示“准时、按时”和“及时”
The trains always run on time. 火车总是准时行驶
He ran into the classroom in time. 他及时跑进了教室。

分析：介词短语on time和in time虽然是一字之差，但是其含义是有所区别的，前者意为“准时、按时”，后者意为“及时”，注意分辨。
