Final Examination Requirements
Please write a 1500-word essay in English on any one of the follow topics. Your essay should be typed and printed on A4-sized paper, with your Chinese name and student number, and submitted to Room 314 of the School of Foreign Languages no later than 7 January 2013. Please also provide a digital version of your essay, with your Chinese name and student number, to hchen@ by the aforesaid date. Please note that BOTH the printed version and the digital version MUST be provide on time.

2）Please make a comparison between the Australian national anthem, Advance Australia Fair, Dorothea McKellar’s poem My Country, and A. D. Hope's
Australia.
3）Please discuss the theme(s) of Henry Lawson's short story, The Drover's Wife.
4）Please comment on the 3 phases of Australia’s education policies since the end of World War Two. (with reference to Professor Leon Lyell’s lectures)
5）Please discuss the innovative and creative spirit of Australia as a nation and a people. (with reference to Ms Megan Jones, the Australian Deputy Consul-General’s speech)
