World Urban Forum is one of the three forums run by the UN, whose concern is placed upon the trend of urban development, and its effect on economic and social development.
2.“和谐的城镇化”不仅包括社会、经济、环境的协调发展，也包
括了城与乡、以及不同社会阶层之间的和谐共融。
Harmonious Urbanization refers not only to the harmonious development of society, economy, and environment, but the harmonious coexistence of the people from city and country, or from different social statuses.
3.目前，我省城市化处于快速发展阶段，到2007年底，全省城镇人
口达到4056万，城市化水平约为53%。
At present, our province has entered a phase of rapid development in unbanization, in that by the year 2007, the unban population will have amounted to 40.56 million, and the urbanization level will have attained 53%.
4.我们深刻的认识到，快速城市化对保护生态环境、节约资源能源、
保障公共安全等提出了更高的要求。

Should the week-long labor day holiday be resumed?
Since 1999, Chinese people have enjoyed three week-long holidays (or so-called “golden weeks”): the lunar new year, the labor day, and the national day holiday. However, in 2008, the government shortened the labor day golden week to a three-day holiday and added three new holidays to celebrate the Qingming, Duanwu, and Autumn Festivals. Recently, there have been calls for resuming the week-long labor day holiday. Do you think the labor day golden week should be resumed?。
