Sometimes self-study could be more affective then going to schools and listen to teachers telling you what to do, but sometimes it will be better to learn in schools to furtherly knowing whats going on.About Self-studyAs adult students in Shanghai TV University, self-study becomes very important. According to me, there are several pieces of tips of self-study. First, I always make a study plan in the beginning of a new semester. Second, preview every unit before the lesson. Third, try to finish the homework after class. Fourth, go over what I have learnt in class regularly at home. Without review, you will absolutely forget what you’ve learnt as quickly as possible. So reviewing is helpful in understanding and memorizing what you’ve learnt.About FriendshipEverybody needs somebody, somebody whom is called "Friend". "A friend in need is a friend indeed." If only that kind of friends can be called "Friends", then there are only few up-to-standards for me. About friendship, we have millions of quotes to support my "saying", "Friendship is nothing but giving." But for most of the time, we're pleased with receiving things from others, instead of giving. Well, I'm not saying friendship is based on stuff-giving, but it needs emotion exchange, like "I can give you nothing but friendship", it sets up a very good example of friendship. Maybe we're too concerning about others' shortcomings, that we've missed a lot of friends-to-be. There are too many aspects about a good friend after all. So just take it easy, and let time do the rest.另During life each of us will meet different people who say that they are our friends, but we will make just a few true friends. What is a friend? Some people say that a friend is one that is close to you, or a good companion to you. In my view, a friend is the one that will stand by you, even through the hardest times. To me friendship is about believing in your friends and helping them no matter what happens.Good friendships don't come along easily, and we are so thankful to have met each other that we must walk past anything that threatens them and see the better future. As the society advances, it is very important for us to learn English well. In fact, It is not very difficult to learn English well. In my spare time, I often listen to English programs in the radio or watch programs on TV. It’s an effic ient way to improve my ability of listening comprehension. I also love to read English novels or magazines. It’s a good way to build up my vocabulary. My favorite English magazine is English Pictorial. It’s very helpful for us middle school students. It wi dens my scope of knowledge. In addition, I practice speaking English with my teacher and my classmates every day. I also persist in keeping a diary in English .Sometimes, I think that it’s a bit difficult for me to learn English well, but I never give up. my view on computer securityComputers are playing a more and more important role in modern society.They are widely used almost in every field,such asbusiness,transportation and education.We use computers to process and store all kinds of information.Also,they are entering ordinary families.We use computers to control electrical appliances and entertain ourselves by playing games on them.Without computers,the world would not be what it is today.Despite this,computers cause trouble.For instance,a great system will be broken down when only a single computer goes wrong.It is possible that somebody breaks into a computer system to steal secret information.We can not rely so much on computers.So we should develop more advanced and reliable computers in order to make our life more colorful and meaningful.In the contemporary society, increasing attention has been paid to entertainment. There are various types of entertainment available, and one of my favorite is surfing the Internet. The Internet has offered me an efficient and convenient way to get the latest news, and I can directly see what has happened around the entire world. In this electronic wonderland, I can also get access to music and movies to relax myself, and make friends with different people. So that's the reason whay I prefer Internet as my way of entertainment.Choosing a jobWe all need a job to live. Job feeds us ,supports us ,in a way,it makes who we are.In choosing a job, most people will see to pay , to the working enverionment, to the welfare. I think it’s all tight for them to think that,but I have more to care .I need a job in which I could make myself useful. Feeling needed is very important at work, inorder to do that I need to find a suitable position, instead of a high place in which I couldn’t play my own role.I need to learn more in a job . Learning probably is one of the most important things in one’s life . To keep up with the time ,I have to learning new things perhaps everyday .So if a job could let me meet new stuffs or new people,it will be my preference.To help people is also one of my considerations when it comes to the choosing of a job .We live in a complicated world,one day we all need help ,I like seeing people smiling after they got help , that’s very comforting .I will try my best to look for a job that meet all my three conditions, and I certainly will do my best when I find myself in it.。
