背诵范文(一)Last Sunday, I came back to Beijing after a short-term study in Canada. Upon arriving at the airport, I immediately caught sight of my mother and brother who came to meet me. Sharing the details of my journey in Canada, I returned home with them.Just as the saying goes, east or west, home is the best. The moment I stepped into my home, all the familiar memories presented themselves vividly before me. I went into my room, preparing to unpack my suitcase and have a good rest. However, hardly had I opened the suitcase when I noticed that there was a book from the Coldwater School Library in Canada. It dawned on me that I forgot to return the book before going back to China.Books are embodiments of knowledge. Besides, I had the obligation to return the book that didn’t belong to me. So I took actions immediately. I surfed the Internet and found out the address of Coldwater School Library. Afterwards, I spent an hour writing a sincere letter of apology, expressing how guilty I felt for forgetting to return the book. Having finished all the work, it was already midnight. Tired as I was, I felt more relieved, for the sake of making up for my negligence. The next day, I went directly into the China Post Office to mail the book and the letter overseas. Looking at the clerk take my packed box away, a sense of relief flooded every corner of my heart. Everyone made mistakes, but lucky was I, who had the chance to correct them. It was the evidence of having the ability to shoulder my responsibilities, which I took pride in.背诵范文(二)April 12 is a memorable day, on which our class went to the suburbs to plant trees, leaving a great impression on me.Early in the morning, with the rising sun, we bicycled to the suburbs, talking and laughing all the way. As soon as we arrived at the planting spot, we set out to work immediately. Aiming to complete the task as soon as possible, we were divided into several groups. Some were allocated to dig holes. Some strong boys offered to carry and plant young trees. Still others were responsible for watering them. As was the air and as was the wind around us,we all worked in high spirits. Cooperating so well, we got the work done within two hours. Afterwards,we put up a board, reminding people to protect the trees. Before leaving, we took some photos to record our green action, which was of great significance. Seeing the lines of trees, we all had a sense of achievement. We feel it’s our duty to protect and beautify our environment. In my bottom heart, this green action impressed me a lot. We not only lived up to the low-carbon lifestyle, but also exercised our bodies during the toil, which was really worthwhile.背诵范文(三)Many a time I have experienced unforgettable moments. But one certain memory stands out and speaks volumes to me.It was early in the morning last Saturday. I was bathing in the warm sunshine and reading a novel in Summer Palace. Sitting beside the Kunming Lake, I felt the beautiful sceneries of winter seemed to have a magic power.Suddenly, a n urgent cry pierced the sky and shattered my silent enjoyment of the scenery.I approached the cry and found a boy in the freezing cold water. Apparently he fell into the lake by accident. The poor little boy called for help desperately, with a large group of people watching beside. I wondered why nobody went into the water to pull the boy onto the bank and then people’s whisper went into my ears.“It’s none of my business”“It’s freezing cold ”People’s remarks made my heart sink. Feeling obliged to save life, I made up my mind to take action. Hardly had I taken off my coat when I jumped into the water.“God! It’s so cold!”I chilled in the water. However, t he li ttle boy’s eyes of expectation inspired me greatly and motivated me to swim ahead. Finally I got hold of his hand and took pains to drag him onto the lake bank. It was not such a long distance. However, for me, it seemed to be an endless journey. Eventually I reached the bank and the little boy was saved. He kept thanking me, but I was too exhausted to offer any reply.I never thought I was a hero. I just did something I was supposed to do. After all, by saving others’ life, we are also making our own life fulfilled. Our school holds Career Day once a year in March, offering us a chance to get familiar with different business and career options.Last Saturday, we arrived at the library punctually at 9am where the whole-day activities were to be held. Gathering at the gate , some of the students watched the arrangement on the poster hanging on the wall, trying to figure out the schedule of the day, The content seemed so attracting that we could hardly wait to step into the conference hall.Coming first was a lecture given by a well-known professor with the theme titled “Career Introduction”. Impressed by not only the experienced analysis on the information of occupations of various kinds, but also, we got captured by the professors’ humorous tone. Thus, none of us were absent-minded and took down useful tips on the note book.Next came the consulting meeting which offered us an awesome opportunity to work out our questions on job-choosing. Seeking advice from the skillful consultant, we had a deeper knowledge of the vocations that we took great interests in.Last but not the least,we were given a chance to experience the work under the consultant’s guidance, which was really meaningful for it helped us have a better picture of our future as well as having a clearer goal. The time elapsed while we were enjoying the Career Day. Needless to say, the life road ahead will be long, our climb will be step, but with the great passion and strong determination, I felt sure that we will earn the valuable career through our industrious effort. This afternoon, we held a farewell party for Zhang Qiang, who was embarking on a studying- abroad program for the next few yearsFirst, Qiang delivered a touching speech on his decision to leave. He elaborated on how unwilling he was to say goodbye, that he had already begun to miss us even before his departure, and that our friendship was meant to last for eternity. For a moment, we sank into utter silence, tears streaming down our cheeks. Then, we put up some photos of Qiang and us on the wall in order to revisit our good old days. Time twisted for a while. Enveloped by a touch of nostalgia, we stared at the pictures of our spring trips, our class concerts and Qiang’s moment of glory when he spoke as a student representative at the school meeting. Our three years together had been bittersweet, but we enjoyed ourselves as a united class.Later, we wrote our words of blessing on Qiang’s white T-shirt which he deliberately wore for this moment. With care and tenderness, I wrote my name on his shoulder. The party drew to an end when we took a photo together to commemorate in the rest of our lives. Holding a bouquet and smiling with tears, Qiang bade farewell to each one of us.Yes, Qiang. We may be parted, but our friendship shall never fall apart. Isaid to myself while watching him step out of the room.Last week, a public bicycle spot caught my attention while my dad was driving me to school . I saw dozens of brand new bikes placed neatly before a giant board which read “Green Transportation”. Realizing that riding public bikes could reduce pollution therefore help beautify our environment, I felt obliged to undertake the responsibility of protecting our mother nature.Later in the evening, I searched for detailed information on the computer about renting bikes. I was caught by surprise when I learnt that all I needed was to get a rental card at a registration office, one of which was located right across the street. The next morning, I hurried to the office with wide-eyed excitement. Ten minutes later, all procedures were done and I was ready to go! My mouth curved into a broad smile when I finally got the rental card. I also saw a crowd of citizens standing in a queue before the office.I’m sure they were als o attracted by both the benefits to the environment and the convenience which could be easily derived from rental bikes. Finally, I was there at the nearest subway station to pick up a bike. The moment the bike was unlocked, my heart was swelled with pride and fulfillment.Action speaks louder than words. I do hope that more and more people, especially students, could become members of the “Green Transportation”. Together, we can make our environment better! Our Spring OutingTo relax ourselves, our class decided to have a spring outing. Last week we had a heated discussion about it. Everyone longed for a spring outing which would offer a chance to embrace the outside world. Gradually, various ideas about the destination came to three directions: amusement park with thrilling games, the river bank where graceful willows were planted, and the forest park for nature lovers. Finally we chose to explore the mountainous forest park on a lovely sunny day. The early spring sun beam was warm and comforting, making each of us pleased. Walking along a winding path, we also noticed that plants were quieting sprouting, releasing pleasant smell. The rock path under our feet were not plain at all, we ran energetically on it, leaving laughter behind. We saw an astounding view before we finally reached the summit: rubbish was everywhere! The sea of rubbish poured our excitement away just in a blink. Hoping for the picturesque scenery back, we picked up and gathered the rubbish and those dirty things. Of course, according to whether it could be recycled or not, we had classified garbage before they were thrown. After doing so, in the whistle of spring breeze, we found the great nature much closer to us. That was quite magnificent, wasn’t it?At the beginning of this term, two students from Yushu, Xiao Hua and Xiao Ming, came to study in our class. No sooner had they set foot in our classroom we welcomed them warmly and gave quantities of gifts that were hand-made by all of my class to them. The cheering atmosphere made the nervous and uneasy new friends relaxed and even touched so much. It seemed that never had they imagined such a grand ceremony was prepared for them.During the following days, we offered to give hands to both of them on study and spare no efforts to solve all the problems they met with in and out of class. Consequently, our efforts were not in vain. Before long they caught up with us and made up for missing content on each subject. Besides, they were also invited to participate in all kinds of activities after class such as tennis, badminton and so on. During the beatific time, we made great progress under the support of each other.Concerned about them feeling lonely, some of us, including our teacher paid frequent visits to them and provided them with what they may need in the daily life. Considering their first coming to Beijing, we invited them to places of interest such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and so on at weekends. Seeing their excited and delighted faces, we recognized how fortunate we were to live in such good conditions.Time fleeing, it was time to say goodbye to each other. They gave us warm hugs and thanked a million for our kindness and donations. I’m sure what they experienced during their stay must inspire them to study persistently and live a positive life in the future. Meanwhile, what we gained was also far beyond our expectation, which will indeed make us treasure the life present more than before. We believe in the philosophy that offering others help makes ourselves satisfied, and here is what happened recently in my class. One day, when our math teacher was giving a class, she suddenly lost balance, and with her high heels broken by the edge, she felt down and hurt her legs! Everyone was astonished at that time. However, we quickly calmed ourselves down and swiftly carried her to the clinic. On the way, we asked anxiously whether it hurt a lot and told her not to move. Having been diagnosed as a severe bone hurt, she had to stay in hospital for weeks. In order to cease her feeling of loneliness, we planned a visit to her several days later. There we sent her flowers, wishing her a quick recovery. Some held her hands and delivered our care for her, while others promised to study hard. We chatted happily, and I saw her tears of satisfaction and pleasure.Yesterday was a big day—our teacher returned “home” from the hospital! Seeing her smiling face, we clapped our hands as a warm welcome. She, though sitting in a wheelchair, showed her pleasant smile like an angel, as if she was expressing her thanks. Again, I saw tears shining in her eyes—they were the symbols of happiness rather than tiredness. This was just a simple thing in our school life, but something meaningful. Our teachers never fail to offer us their meticulous care. So when they need help, it’s our duty as well as honor to lend a helping hand. In this way, we can create a harmonious teacher-student relationship! We took a 20-kilometer hike last Friday, and it has been one of the most unforgettable experiences since high school. There were so many touching and inspiring moments that I can’t wait to share.Early in the morning, we set out in high spirits. With the sun shining brightly, we all looked forward to a journey filled with joy and fun. However, it was some time later that I began to realize how naïve I was.The sceneries of the mountain were beyond description. With our laughter permeating into every corner, we walked on and on. It seemed we would finish the 20-kilometer journey in no time. Nevertheless, little by little, we felt the striking of exhaustion. Sweat pouring down our faces, our pace was gradually slowing down. Our legs seemed to be filled with tons of steel that we had to spare no effort to raise them and move on.Fortunately we were in a team. Whenever a member was falling behind, non-stop encouragement and assistance were provided instantly by the rest of us. The scene impressing me most involved Mary. During the half-way of the process, Mary felt so tired that she was on the edge of giving up. A severe pain was attacking her legs. We immediately came around her, offering comfort and taking the bag for her. Gradually she regained strength and continued the journey with us.In the end we successfully covered the whole 20-kilometer journey. Returning to our school gate, we couldn’t help hugging each other and taking photos. This unforgettable journey will always be carved into our memories, for it contains ourcooperation, courage and striving towards challenges.Last weekend our school held a sports meeting. Knowing it was our last high school sports meeting, we decided to make it an unforgettable experience for all of us.We first attended the opening parade, for which our class had made a lot of preparations. Our parade took on the shape of the letter “V”, indicating victory for ourselves. To our excitement, our parade performance was a great success. After the parade, the games started. My classmates attended various events such as running, high jump and long jump. Due to the hard training they had done before, their performances were very impressive. On the stand, my classmates applauded and cheered for the athletes, some raising their cameras to capture the exciting moments. Finally, the result was announced. It was amazing that our class won the second place. Our efforts paid off! Cup in hand, we took a picture together.I believe this sports meeting will remain a precious memory for all of us astime goes by.It was such a lovely day today that I got together with my friend went to the park to have fun. We enjoyed every item of the amusement facilities with great delight, which reminded us of our childhood. Then we went skating. I soon managed my balance with ease, while my friend who was not good at sports seemed a little clumsy. The park was full of our laughe r. As we felt a little tired, we decided to leave early in the afternoon. No sooner had we reached the exit, than we noticed a little girl standing all alone with tears streaming down along her face. We stopped by her side and asked warmly what was the matter. She sobbed a lot with only a few words indicating that she was lost and that mom was nowhere to find.Since we felt it our responsibility to help kids in need we started to discuss about how to aid her without a second thought. I stayed with the girl to comfort her. Seeing the perfect skating skills I performed, she burst into laughter and seemed no longer heartbroken. In the meanwhile, my friends rushed to the central control room to inform people about the girl through broadcast. Describing her clothes and appearance, we hoped the mother would soon come to the exit for her girl. Before long, we were able to see an anxious woman breathlessly running towards us. With sweat dropping from the forehead, she embraced the girl dearly before she was even able to express her gratitude to us. We smiled to her and then waved goodbye to them.Though cold and exhausted, we felt proud of what we had done. Helping others is always a great pleasure. We have a general technology class this term to learn some basic skills. The most interesting experience was the task to make a bookshelf by ourselves.
